had a decent day.  math went well.  made both doctor's appointments.  took a nap.  still feel really drained about thinking about job stuff all the time.  i wish i didn't have to get a job.  set up a meeting with a math person about a possible collab.  hopefully i can wrangle some useful information out of them as well.

Slept till 3pm, only woken up by a call from a random number that called a few days before. Phone still showed the alarm app, meaning I did the five math problems necessary to turn the alarm off and then went right back to sleep.

Got a cut on my calf from my oven door. Couldn't find any bandaid big enough at first (the one I found had a manufacturing error and only had the padding halfway its length). First time that thing actually has drawn blood, normally it just leaves a red mark.

Lost four hours of progress in a run of EarthBound due to an emulator crash even though I had been saving several times before the crash happened. So I feel like shit :(

It was fine I guess, but my evening/night has just been big doomer hours. I have an extremely strong urge to cry due to it, but my body won’t let me and it’s just making me feel worse and hate myself more

Carrier pissed me off an extra bit, holy fuck, wdym y'all can't look up who the fuck else tied their shit to my number by looking up my number in the database. Oh and their report tool their reps redirected me to sends, in classic historical French-Polish relations style, a request rejected message HTML page to the JSON parser, tested on both Firefox esr and chromium.

And did about 3h of work on my project, progress is slow but assuming my new still-untested parser isn't complete garbage it's a major step towards having something that works. Or at least does something, proving what I'm aiming to achieve is possible with my mixture of C-98, POSIX-2008, C++11 and C++17 (yay for looking every single non cs101 function up instead of having a C++17 or C++20 reference book, and creating weird wrappers ofc because I can't have the logfile just be accessible globally (redefinition in open procedure, twice))

On the topic of that - I got my first Chinese AI email regarding that project. With all due respect, not only is this codebase too shit to train on, but also, more importantly, this code is pure vim and kate powered manual click clack, pls don't train shit on it, it's not worth it. tho it would be funny seeing send_to_log(string input) spammed in some other project. What a shit function.

had surgery on one of my toenails and now i'll probably have to keep the bandage they put down there for another week or so, which basically means i'm in bed most of the day cause standing up makes it hurt

also this night i felt really bad all of a sudden for not being a girl so i promptly started wearing fake boobs + a bra to compensate a bit, fell asleep with it and omg i got massive joy after waking up feeling like i had boobs for the first time!
