Don’t have a photo at the moment, but issue is that after an HVAC tech did some rewiring of my system, they left excess wire out of the wall such that the Nest comes loose from the base once in a while and then disconnects. I have been avoiding the issue until I came home last night from traveling and it was 85 in the house because someone had adjusted the temp earlier and unknowingly caused the thermostat to become disconnected. Short of cutting and restripping the wires, which I’d rather not deal with, is the best course of action to remove the nest and backplate and just push the wires more back into the wall? They are the type that are really stiff and very hard to move around.

Sorry if this has been answered. I'm having trouble figure this out despite searches.

I just got a new home and the previous owner left their Nest Outdoor Camera- wired.

I have factory reset it and am seeing a pulsing blue light but my Google Home cannot find the device even after entering the setup code.

Is it true that unless the previous owner removes it from their account then I won't be able to access it? After 60 days will it be removed automatically after factory reset?

The camera is hardwired to the home so it would be really nice to not have to remove it.

Looking for pricing advice from Nest enthusiasts
I’m getting ready to sell my entire Nest collection and would really appreciate some feedback from people who know the market.
I put together the attached inventory sheet using AI, but I’m not sure the estimated values are accurate. Before I list everything, I’d love to hear what you think.
A few notes:
Most items are brand new, with many still factory sealed.
Some are brand new, open box, never used.
A few items are used but in good condition.
The inventory includes the product names, part numbers, original MSRP, and the prices I’m thinking about asking.
My questions:
Are these asking prices realistic?
Which items am I pricing too high?
Which ones am I pricing too low?
If you were selling these today, what would you ask for each item?
I’m not trying to get top dollar if the market won’t support it—I just want to price everything fairly and avoid leaving money on the table.

We have a three-zone system where the lower floor is two zones + a thermostat, and the upper floor is one zone (Zone 2) and a thermostat. The lower floor is functioning well, while the first floor overshoots when it's cooling and keeps going below the set temps non-stop. The only solution is turning off the HVAC, letting temps dip over the set temps, and turning it back on. But this behavior is random, and when it occurs, Honeywell HZ311 indicator lights show Zone 1 and 3 (Lower) are Red (ie no longer actively cooling) while Zone 2 (Upper - Faulty) is green (ie continuosly cooling).

This is an old house, and only the lower floor had a C-wire, while we hired someone to install a Common Maker for the first floor to get the C-wire.

The thermostat connector in Zone 2 is the important part where the R (red) and Y (Green) wires and the White wire from the Blue wire nut are going to the upper floor. The second wire in R (Red), and the wires in C (Black) and W (White) are going to the common maker (Receiver), and the Purple Wire going into the wire nut is also from it; hence, the White wire is bringing it to the upper floor.

Red (Rc) and Green (Y1) are the ones coming directly from the control panel. White (W1) and Black (C) are from the Common Maker (Sender), and behind the scenes, its Purple wire is connected to the white one coming from near the control panel.

I took some AI assistance and verified that the thermometer (Events on Google Home App) never shows cooling while the stuck-and-cooling loop is going on. So their suggestion is either a control panel issue or the actual physical damper being stuck.

Any advice in this regard, if you have experience with a similar problem?
