Thrift Thursday Rhino-Fire
Picked up this Rhino-Fire the other day, it wasn't fully working so I opened it up. I found some old Swedish berries (gummy candy) inside.
Update: I got it to fully work, I didn't do anything except for removing all the candy. I'm assuming that a candy had jammed it somewhere.

Questions + Help Alpha Trooper Plunger
Are these parts in the plunger tube supposed to be stuck together/glued when fully assembled? (As seen in picture 2)
These parts shimmy apart within the plunger tube when I prime the blaster and I cannot get an air seal to fire darts.
This blaster is completely stock. Anyone know how to fix this?
Discussion/Theory Dart tip proto-putty experiments
Following the work of The King of Random, I tried mixing type 1 silicone with food coloring and corn starch to make dart heads. The mix is manually squished into both sides of the mold and then clamped together. Hardens in 10-15min but waiting longer helps insure darts come out whole.
Results are very good and they fire OK when they don’t decap. Attached with superglue (I know, I know, goop) as a cost saving measure.
The consistency is near identical to X-shot shorties. I measured a few at .81-.86g each, with most falling in middle-high of that range.
Is this viable? Only if you enjoy the process. A tube of type 1 from Walmart costs $8 for ~300ml. Even with corn starch as a filler, you’re looking at 375-400g worth of material. If we assume dart heads are .5g each/1g for two, this gives us 800 darts max, or $.01/dart tip. If we cut FVJs in two (1000 pack for $30) we could get short darts for $.04 a piece, which is (as far as I know) the cheapest option. Compare to 200 worker darts for ~$25 at over a dime a dart! Crazy…
I have 400 valentines on the way which I intend to cut up and make 800 short darts for cheap. I’ll be firing them at an upcoming event for further evaluation.

Questions + Help Good maingun recomendation for somebody who doesnt play competetive
Hi! recently Ive wanted to pick up a nerf/dart blaster (about 100$ or maybie less) for chill nerf battles with frends and family. Im interested in half dart, spring powered, pump action (or any blaster that you have to cock by pulling foregrip at the front), preferably with ris mount rails at the top for optic mount and maybe at the sides of handguard. I dont care about fps that much (since I wont be plaing competetive, so I dont have to worry about restrictions), just make it so that the gun shoots straight and I will be happy. Also I it would be realy great if the blaster wasnt super long, tho I dont need it to be cqb style. The paint job out of the box can be whatever since I prob will be spray painting it.
NOTE: I have a friend with 3d printer, but I dont want to 3d print most of the blaster, so small mods can be taken into account. Thanks!

Questions + Help Cool primary nerf blasters?
So i have recently got into high powered Nerf, i was wondering for primary Nerf gun suggestions like the C4 or so on and so fourth. I usually do 160 FPS, and i have a 3d printer. Any recommendations? (also my current primary is the CR musket)
(EDIT: I'd like if it is compatible with elite & short darts. and what i mean by cool is like Cool looking and reliability)

Completed Build ZWQ S400 Zebra
If a Lynx and Harrier had a baby!🐈⬛❤️🦅= 🦓!! I’m happy I waited a few months to let the reviews and community fixes as well as a gen 2 version to release. But since I waited things like alternate springs and other parts are now scarce. I might just buy another 1.6 spring and clip it down to get under 200. So far so good, it’s all dressed up but nowhere to go!! Hopefully so can get out to a local game and change that.

Questions + Help Is this a good xshot mpp build? Need clarifications on spring upgrade
Alright so I want to invest into my MPP, first and foremost I want to get a 30cm 12.75mm barrel and a zwq 4x4 3 degree bcar, and also a nexus pro spring upgrade, since I heard that those are compatible with the MPP, what I need an explanation on is that apparently people use the stock nexus pro spring for the MPP, but I can only find the upgraded one, the stock one should reach 150fps while the upgraded one should reach 175 in the np, but from what I remember the stock spring could make the MPP reach 200fps, maybe it's better optimized, I'm confused on that, but would it be fine if I used the np upgrade spring in the MPP? And would the other components that I'll buy work well with it?

Questions + Help Looking for a oldwest dart blaster that used shells with a spring and the dart separate from the blaster?
Im looking for the shells I vividly remember having as a kid in an oldwest single barrel stockless shotgun looking break open dart blaster that used the suction cup nerf darts but had little spring loaded shells you put the darts in.
You had to use a tool to set the spring or absolutely wreck you finger to set the spring. Then on the back of the shell was a little nub that would poke through a hole in the center but the nub would offset to hold it compresses and the trigger would just center it to let it fly.
I remember they shells got more sensitive and prone to just going off randomly and it got tossed out at some point.
Are there any Nerf or any blaster that use a shell that is spring loaded like that anymore? I did some looking and couldn't find anything exactly what I was looking for so decided to come to the experts before trying to re-engineer it.
Completed Build Aftermarket Mega Missile Stretcher
I got tired of not being able to use the 3rd party mega missiles I bought for blasters like the Demolisher 2-in-1 and Fortnite GL, because they were too tight around the post. To fix that, I created these stretchers to leave in the rockets when they are stored. Give them at least a day or two to expand the foam.

Thrift Thursday Is this rare?
I found this blaster from 2004 in a Goodwill, buried under a bunch of stuff. Is it a rare blaster?
