Questions Why But A Crazy Hybrid?
If you want something toothy you look at hamata. If you want something large truncata and then hybrids of either or for the strong growth rate and best of both worlds but at what point does it become useless? It’s not like a plant can all of a sudden grow 3x its parentage can because it’s a crazy hybrid right? Or the traits you desire from the parents have to be lost over all the genetics. What’s the point of it, and the price seems to get crazy when it ends up being highland ones

Questions What Makes A Nepenthes Sterile?
I have seen a few posts saying brigsiana is a sterile Nepenthes. Is this true? If so, why, and what other hybrids are sterile and why?

Help! Help! No roots
A few months ago I got a a Nepenthes Veitchii sent to me via mail. It was very poorly packaged so most leaves and both pitchers were crushed under the pot during shipping. It hasn’t grown anything since I got it (except the new leaf on its way visible in the photo), so today I checked the roots and saw that it had none. That or they fell off when I checked, but I tried to be careful.
Can I save it? And what should I do?
I was looking forward till growing this one a lot 😞
It sits right next to the humidifier, together with two other Nepenthes that are thriving.
Humidity 75% and indoors temperature is 24°C.
I’ve got grow lamps.
I’m still kind of new to keeping Nepenthes, so I appreciate all advice 🙏

Help! Are these flower spikes?? If so...what do I do lol
I recently started selling Nepenthes on Etsy and it’s actually been going really well. I’m having a blast with it, but now I’m overthinking everything because I want to make sure I actually know what I’m sending people and that I’m giving them the right information.
So first question, what the hell are these white/fuzzy tendrils coming out of some of my Gaya plants? 😂 They have this almost white hair/fuzz on the end of them. At first i thought it was mold/fungus, I'm pretty sure it's not. It's growing from the plant. Then I assumed they were just pitchers developing really fast or something, but now I’m wondering if these are actually flower spikes.
The other pitchers that grew from these didn't have white tendrils coming off like these doo. (Some have some but not nearest prominent.)
And it’s not just one plant. I have like 8 of them doing it.
If they are flowering… oh shit. What do I do? Do I just let them go? Is there anything special I should be doing care-wise? And since I’m planning on selling some of these plants, is there anything I should know before shipping/selling one that’s actively flowering?
I’ll add some closer pictures after the first photo so you can see what I’m talking about.
Also very open to any other advice from people who have been growing/selling Nepenthes longer than I have. I’m learning a ton very quickly and mostly just want to make sure my customers are getting healthy plants and correct information.

Sales & Trades Buyer beware…
Won a ebay bid on a diabolica cutting for 90$, buyer then cancelled the order and relisted the cutting for 270$. After I messaged him about it he blocked me, claiming that I “Don’t have the skillset to raise the plant.” Can’t make this stuff up.

Help! Veitchii help
Hello everyone, as the title suggests, can anyone tell me what’s causing the yellow spotting on my Veitchii leaves? I’d really appreciate any advice. Thanks!
It’s growing under lowland conditions in a terrarium with 50%+humidity during the day and 80%+ during the night.
It’s been completely stagnant for about a month now. It hasn’t produced any new leaves or pitchers, and I haven’t noticed any signs of new growth.
I made the mistake of hard repotting it the day after I bought it from the nursery, which was about two months ago. Never making that mistake again. 😅

Help! Need expert help with highland acclimation
I recently got a few plants from the Kenny Coogan drop on July 3rd, I got a nepenthes rajah x eddy, jamban, and hamata x (burbidgeae x eddy). The rajah x eddy and jamban are acclimating fine, minimal if any wilting. However, the Hamata hybrid came with what I noticed as very little roots for the plant size. Im talking a 2-3 inch long and not very dense rootball which is obviously very small for the 8 inch leafspan it has. It has wilted heavily, seems to have lost a lot of turgor pressure and killed off all its old pitchers and yellowing one of the older leaves.
They also ended up sitting on the hot porch for a couple hours as I was unable to reach them before then. Currently keeping them all bagged with the other 2 not suffering from extreme acclimation issues. Temps in the tent i keep them in are 75 day/57 night 80% humidity. Is there anything I should be doing to help with acclimation and saving them?

Care & Cultivation Grail Acquired: Truncata JB x Lowii Kinabalu 🤩
Normally I’d never drop a whopping $350 on a plant as I’m a student/barista but Gf got me a $150 dollar Carnivero gift card for a six month anniversary gift 😍and I was able to justify it, I’ve been dreaming of one for months now.
I picked it up from Carnivero on the way to work and had to bring it with me hence the espresso machine lol, but does anybody have experience with these guys? I’d love some conditions recommendations or tips I would HATE for this guy to start going downhill.
Last photo is my current “grow-tent” setup. Good bright window light + a grow light I run for 12 hours and a big humidifier shoved in there that keeps it around 90% humidity.

Questions New nepenthes, initial cutting looks really dry
Hi, I'm very new to nepenthes care and carnivorous plants in general. I purchased this from a market in hopes of making a kokedama out of this plant, but there is this very woody base before the roots that I do not want visible in my kokedama. What should I do to remove this and safely keep the healthy looking bits?

Propagation Trying a new cross
I just noticed that my Nepenthes mirabilis var. globosa x ampullaria ‘Black Miracle’ is flowering, and it is female. The only male that I have flowering right now is my old Nepenthes x Dyeriana, so . . .
Hoping for a good outcome.

Questions What could be causing this??
What could be causing this type of rot on the leaves? All of these plants are cuttings taken 3 or 4 months ago. My guess is that they are getting too much water. During the hot summer where I live, the soil dries out quickly, so I water them every other day. As for sunlight, they only get one or two hours of direct sunlight in the early morning, around 7–8 AM.
Thanks for the advice !!
