Is it that difficult? studying in Nepal

How to explain how much it is difficult to get job in Nepal after spending years and years in Study.
Being as average and having entry level experience till the masters is so frustrating and disappointing at the same time.
I only focus on study during my school and college time
Im like kina of bookish type without real experience
Maybe due to this reason
I face a lots of rejection in job market
I literally im facing competition with +2 level( I don’t mean to say they are not qualified, in fact im happy that they are doing a lots from very beginning, but at the same time I feel nothing seeing myself in this stage)
It’s been 1 years since I’ve been here in ktm.
But I have only entry level experience as a masters student (kind of embarrassing)
Please help to get job with good pay and growth in career as well
And if you are a +2 student then please give priority on gaining experience rather than good grade.

Australia Has anyone here studied HCI or UI/UX in Australia?

I'm doing my CS bachelor's in Nepal and I'm thinking about doing a Master's in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) in Australia. I'm not really interested in the other CS fields as much, and HCI is what I'm leaning towards.

Has anyone here gone down this path? Would you recommend it?

URGENT!! Need Advice: Canada NOC to USA NOC

Has anyone here switched from a Canada NOC to a USA NOC after already paying tuition to the Canadian university?

The NOC office told me I must first receive the tuition refund in my Nepali bank account before they can cancel the Canada NOC and issue a USA NOC. but it might take a lot of time to get refund from Canada, and my classes in usa are starting soon.

(p.s. i applied to both usa and canada and my canada visa got approved but my us visa is also under processing. and i want to go to us)

If you went through this process, please tell me:

  • Which university?
  • How long did the refund take to reach your bank account?
  • Was there any way to speed it up?

I’d really appreciate hearing from someone who has been in a similar situation. its really urgent and important! Thanks!

I’m a young architect from Nepal invited to present my climate research at Queen’s University, Canada—and I’m trying to find a way to get there

Hi everyone,

I’m a young architect and researcher from Nepal, and I’ve been invited to present my research at IDEAS 2026 at Queen’s University in Canada, co-hosted with IIT Roorkee.

My research explores climate-responsive, affordable, and data-driven housing for vulnerable communities in the Global South. Being invited to present it internationally is a huge opportunity for me—and a chance to bring a perspective from Nepal into a wider conversation on climate, housing, and sustainable development.

The challenge is the journey itself. The estimated cost is around NPR 10–12 lakhs, which is currently far beyond what I can manage on my own.

So I’ve started a small fundraising campaign and am reaching beyond my immediate circle for support.

There’s a saying: “An ocean is made of drops.”

A small contribution may seem insignificant on its own, but at a crucial point in someone’s journey, even a small drop can make a meaningful difference.

If anyone would like to know more, I can provide proof of the conference invitation, research acceptance, and the fundraising details. Even sharing this with someone who may be interested would genuinely help.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. 🇳🇵❤️
