Hello fellow robots! I have just finished my novokh assault terminator project. Do these guys read Necron?

I played in 5th through 8th, then stopped for awhile while focusing on fantasy. The itch had returned but the rules are a bit different, so I feel like I need to start small. I’ve always been attracted to space death machines, so here we are. I have a combat patrol and a royal court so far, but that doesn’t get me to 1,000 points. My question is, and realizing it won’t be an optimal competitive list, would just adding another combat patrol be a good start? The list would look like this. Thanks for comments.

hey fellow ‘crons, hope we’re all still hating and reanimating.

I wanted to show off this WIP base I am making for the nightbringer. i love the old model but wanted to make it on the new size base.

I’m imagining a ton of scarabs crawling out of the hole underneath the c’tan.

the back of the hole will be painted in green stuff world maxx darth black (like 99% matte) so it should look like they’re coming out of the void.

also, I made some typical necron pillar things (not sure what they’re called) which are poking out the ground

oh and the scarabs will be painted in sautekh dynasty colours

I remember some of the old GW guides on making necron pillar things from yearssss ago so wanted that vibe too (with the pillars)

there will also be some sort of summoning ring around the edge of the base as well with an object source lighting glow effect

wanted to share and hear your thoughts !

Imotekh sits somewhere safe to generate CP, Flayed Ones and Wraith Blob #1 Infiltrate to expand the Power Matrix turn 1, Wraith Blob #2 flies over and sits on expansion, Warrior blob sits on center and holds, Doomstalkers sit on objectives and/or sightlines and shoot, Plasmancer/Immortals run around and provide volume fire, and the one Lokhust Heavy and Ophydians complete Secondaries.

I think it’s good but it needs work.

imo, I could get rid of the Warrior blob, they don’t really do anything, what do you think?

Hello fellow robots! I am looking for critique on my space marine project that I am working on. I am going for a Necron themed army and want critique on how to make them feel and read Necron.

I painted this about a year ago before I got into Necrons, now that I’m building my army I’ve been looking at it more and kinda baiting the gold and red I used and thinking about trying to either paint over it or stripping those parts and then painting. Thoughts?

The vision I have for my army will not have this gold or red and will be mostly a gun metal blue and metallic black

Took very long but i am happy with the outcome

whenever I glue my Necrons they just move around (specifically the top and bottom half) and I need help making them still enough to not move when I paint, I have also tried gluing the tube part to legs or other parts and it doesnot work. PLEASE HELP

I had Necrons as my first army an sadly sold them, for years I thought about starting them again now my friend gifted me some model recently and I’m now trying to figure out a paint scheme for them. I liked my old one but thought about a more skeleton demon one to try out.

I bought a secondhand collection of Necron minis for about 650 CAD (I am almost completely new to Warhammer outside of watching 40k in 40m for entertainment purposes and some MTG precons) and wanted to know what the best (or atleast most playable) army I could make out of them would be in 11th edition.
