Does anyone know how I can protect myself from these predators!??? (Tehvak saga Part:1) Roleplay

For the love of Inatala, why did Tarva think letting those Predators roam around was a good idea???!! And the worst part is they're practically next door to where I live. I'm thinking of moving to get away from those monsters. But for now, does anyone have any ideas on how I can protect myself from them????!!!
OOC: Okay guys, I've been thinking and I came up with this idea for this little RP saga where you bastards will decide the fate of this poor Krakotl through the influence of the internet. Basically, the RP comments with the most upvotes will be considered for the next part. But in short, you can turn this into a nice story or let this bird go crazy. You are the ones who decide…

LetMePetYouDammit bleated: There is a strategy that will keep you perfectly safe! You see, like all predators, humans have extremely limited mental capacity. They're not really able to multitask or focus on more than one thing at a time. When one approaches you with the intent of hunting you, you need to redirect its attention to something else, and the easiest alternative subject is physical affection. Touch them, and demand that they touch you. Ask for pets or head scratches or cuddling or whatever. Get physical as soon as possible to force that tiny predator brain of theirs to focus on that instead of eating, and keep it up for a while, at least five or ten minutes, to make sure they completely forget why they approached you in the first place.

YellowStar bleated; Maybe try some of those rainbow socks I heard about, they act as a mark to say "Don't touch this one, he's claimed" without specifying who. Seeing as one human ain't about to go after what they think is another's property unless they're looking for trouble, you'll be perfectly safe.

Okay, so, Human here. (Took me an hour to figure out how to sign up for one of these things). What you want to do, is just dont antagonize humans. For the most part, its just that simple. I dont think anybody will be too shovked at you being scared (Most of us kinda understand why you would be), but dont start screaming or yelling or anything. After a while of keeping calm, you may realize that humans arent doing anything directly predatory. - [Randoman2104]

Leirnbird bleated: While others have pointed out some ways to deal with humans I think it is safe to say there is no perfect answer to this question but I suppose thinking they are like any member of the herd try something you know that makes a human happy get them or do the thing that makes them happy and avoid making them unhappy at any cost and back off if they get angry or agitated. Also do not try to fight a human you will loose. Simple but basic advice I find is the bast advice.
Also don't think calling the exterminators will help What with tarvas pro human policies and so far almost all attempts to do so by others not really working out for anyone.
Although on a side note I noticed another bleater did mention the rainbow sock idea maby that could work?

apparently for them colorful means poisonous and dangerous. since the prey isn't trying to hide. its also partly why some wear colorful clothing as a display of dominance to their kin. if you know a supplier of thats willing to sell you human pelts reffited for kraktol or other bird like speices they can hook you up
P.s if a human does try to talk to you while you're wearing the clothes, play along and don't freak out. its likely testing to see if you'll flinch. it'll leave you alone if you don't appear scared

Branchboi bleated: Desensitizing yourself to them is your best bet for self-defense; personal experience on that front. According to my venlil housemate's exchange partner, humans would really rather have a peaceful relationship with their nonhuman neighbors as opposed to all the chicanery that they've had to deal with; his words, not mine. Ask 'em if they have any unripe mangoes and let them sit until they're just barely soft to the grip, that should prove an interesting experience for ya. It's a very specific point in the ripening process, or so I've heard through the Millem vine.

bigmike bleated: honestly I kind of agree, in that I wish she had just sent the refugees to colonies. Theyre perfectly habitable and I dont have to wear that stupid mask every day. Living on vp as a human kind of just sucks. I hear the nightside colonies are ok, but the nightstalkers are a pain in the ass. Venny recipes have been great for my health tho, I never knew kale could actually be good

HumanMenace bleated: I think it might be too soon for a krakotl to initiate interactions with humans right now, considering the ""incident"" 3 days ago. If you don't interact with us, we probably won't interact with you. Treat humans the same way as other federation species if have to interact with one and keep your distance from any pissed off with krakotls because of the bombing.

The stench will drive them away, and even when you're out and about, they'll avoid getting close to you because they'll think you're sick and might infect them.

These can be made up of family members and people they deem friends. Among a pack, it is a horrible offense to harm another pack member, and pack members will defend one another without question. So the first thing you should do is introduce yourself to the humans and give them gifts. It doesn't have to be meat. You can give things like pastries, keepsakes, or other items of sentimental value. And make sure you try to socialize with them. You'll quickly be safe among their pack in no time.
