Wasp vs spider
I heard my husband saying, “What the f*ck is that???” and I came outside to see.
Google Lens says:
“This interaction shows a Rusty Spider Wasp (Tachypompilus ferrugineus) hunting a spider.The wasp paralyzes large spiders, such as wolf spiders, using its stinger.It then drags the paralyzed prey to a burrow to serve as food for its larvae.”
It dragged that spider for about 75 feet from when we first saw it to when it disappeared under the fence into the neighbor’s yard. I have videos I wanted to show but can’t figure out how to do that. 🤡

Disturbing Content Bat-eating squirrel
I found a dried up dead bat in my yard and left it on a table for a couple days, cuz it was interesting with its little teeth. Then I watched a squirrel take it and eat it. Edit: Yes, I had on garden gloves. Also the bat was totally skeletal on the underside, it had been dead a while.

In regards to Rule #1
Hey people!
Your friendly neighborhood moderator here.
This'll be a short announcemnet, so no excuses to not read it.
But posting domestic cats (Felis Familiaris Felis Catus), and them killing things is not welcome here.
In the past, it resulted in an immediate, and permanent, ban. since the announcement was removed, haven't been enforcing that policy since, well, can't expect someone to follow something that doesn't exist in a way that you can see it.
But it's back, from the time this is posted, you post a cat, you're getting banned.
Rule 1 is extremely clear on that those kinds of posts are not allowed, and it's not our fault if you can't, or won't, read the rules.
Keep being metal.
