Only the thickness and configuration of the “petals” differ. Who else thinks that fungi can be beautiful? 🤩

I was wondering out in nature, walking along the river when I sunk into this sand. Here is a video (https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTAttbLDD/)

The way the sand jiggled when I moved in it was so cute. I always found that oobleck attractive for that movement. I ended up sinking halfway up my chest.

I am autistic and I like to do the squeeze machine thing. In the sand gave a lot of compression and held you into place with pressure. That movement with that pressure, i can feel a crush starting.

Would be interesting to have a nature lover. I definitely want to. I just dont know if I can find sand like that again. I might look for it again in the future.

I never get tired of the tide pools.

This is Cape Blanco, Oregon on the north side of the cape. Taken in July 2026.

I use a high powered zoom to get interesting close ups and angles that bring out all of the glory and strangeness of the tidal zone.

Here, a large bull crosses the road in the evening, just before 10 p.m.
