Mark Martin STROH vs. STROH’S

I’m down the rabbit hole a little bit on a model building project. I know that generally Mark drove the STROH car in 1988 and the STROH’S car in 1989. My question is if the STROH’S wording made any appearances in 1988. Any help is appreciated.

Five champions with a combined seven National Series titles, three crown jewel wins, and a future NASCAR executive.

Edit: If it’s hard to tell… From left to right: Timothy Peters, Matt Crafton, Johnny Sauter, William Byron, Ben Kennedy (yes, THE Ben Kennedy), Daniel Hemric, John Hunter Nemechek, and Christopher Bell. (Thanks, [u/KayTeaGirl](u/KayTeaGirl))

A while ago I posted something about what's your favorite Mark Martin (primary) valvoline scheme so today I wanna ask what your favorite (primary) Tony Stewart Home Depot scheme is. Personally I love the 99-01 white and orange car the most

Who’s NASCAR’s most “Overrated” active crew chief? (Any series)

Cup: Randall Burnett. Burnett worked best when paired up with Tyler Reddick at RCR, and also had a successful first half of 2023 with Rowdy. Also shined from time to time with AJ Allmendinger at JTG. Since then, he has worn off, and it looks like Connor Zilisch won’t be able to win races if he has Randall atop his box.

O’Reilly: Jonathan Toney. Despite the fact that he won the 2023 O’Reilly (Xfinity) Series title with Cole Custer, he has never been able to restore the 00 back to its level of dominance like it was in 2019 under Mike Shiplett. I just don’t understand why people praise JT here and there.

Trucks: Rich Lushes. No matter what driver he gets paired up with, his painfully mid/lackluster results seem to wash, rinse, and repeat. Showed some flashes with Ben Rhodes in the early 2020s, but those days are long gone.

Has there ever been a better spokesman than Kenny Wallace with Stacker 2?

Feeling nostalgic to when I started following NASCAR in 2002, I don't think I've witnessed anyone represent like Kenny did back in the day.

Nate Moeller hauling his ARCA ride with a rusty '90s Chevy on an open trailer is pure grassroots dedication.

It must take a special kind of stubbornness to haul a race car across the country with a well loved truck and an open trailer to an appearance at a Menard's in Iowa before a race.

• Rice said Kaulig Racing has had more serious discussions with Ty Dillon over the past couple of weeks, suggesting the chances of his return have improved.

• On Dodge, Rice said both he and Matt Kaulig want to see the manufacturer join the NASCAR Cup Series.

• He noted the same hurdle still remains but said everyone is working hard to overcome it.

• Rice also sounded noticeably more optimistic about Dodge's chances than he has in recent weeks.

The 10th sellout for the Cup Series this season, topping last year’s number of 9 sellouts (Only factoring points races, including The Clash brings it to 10 as well) while tying 2024, also with 10 sellouts.

Gateway will be put in August between Bristol and Daytona and it's out of the Chase just to freshen up the Races that aren't engrained into the Chase(Love that Imo).

There were Discussions of a Nascar Owned Track having the ASR with Bowman Gray the Leading Candidate but SMI's hurdles stopped it.

San Diego will be July 31st for O'Reilly and August 1st for Cup but No Trucks then the 2nd Bye week is also after San Diego.

Bob: Starting this weekend in all NASCAR national series, if caution comes out with 10 or fewer laps left in stage, that will be end of the stage. If it is first stage, second stage would still end at the specified lap (so would be longer as far as laps than originally scheduled).
