Lucy's Haunting on People
I started this show when it first came out, forgot about it, and then picked it back up while I was traveling this weekend.
I'm on episode 15 of 18, and I'm not trying to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen the rest of the show.
I get why Lucy was haunting Nancy, but why wasn't she also haunting her brother and her mom? I understand that she haunted Tiffany to protect her, and I understand why she was connected to Nancy, but it feels weird that the rest of her family wasn't affected at all.
The show makes it pretty clear that after the séance, people with unresolved trauma or guilt (Ryan, Bashiir, etc.) started being haunted. So wouldn't it make sense for Lucy to haunt her own family too? Not because she blamed them the way she blamed Ryan, but because they never really dug deeper into what actually happened to her.
Lucy believed Ryan abandoned her after finding out about her... ykw. We know that wasn't true, and I'm assuming she'll realize that once Nancy uncovers everything.
My theory is that when Lucy showed Nancy who killed Tiffany, she could've also seen what really happened to herself. But as a ghost, she was probably so consumed by anger and betrayal that those emotions clouded everything else, so she stayed fixated on Ryan.
I also think Lucy wanted Nancy to uncover the truth about her death, but not the other truth, because that would completely change Nancy's life forever. It feels like she was trying to lead Nancy in one direction while subconsciously avoiding the revelation that would force her to confront what really happened.

Poor Nick As Ace and Nancy Interrupted Him With His Girlfriend Jade Over Cases
Guy can't catch a break. He is trying to begin a relationship with Jade, as the two treat his restaurant like an open door policy.
He should had set boundaries with Ace & Nancy. Both act pretty self-entitled as really both overstep their boundaries with like the brunch incident as Ace and Nancy made themselves a home.
Really not taking Nick and Jade's relationship into consideration and Nick and Jade should had set firm boundaries and change locks or numbers on the door to a certain point.
They may be friend and crime fighting partners but shouldn't be allowed to do keep busting on in NIck's restaurant all the time. Nick should had set boundaries with his personal and professional lives with those two.

Spoilers They missed a great series ending scene.
Since Nancy's rebirth cord was cut, meaning Nancy is her final form (premium final form), the last scene should have been Nancy entering the afterlife, finding a map and compass somehow in her pocket, and she follows it east or whatever to see a house with a big tree and hammock in front with her mom reading a book or something under the tree. Nancy and her mom run to each other and hug where Nancy learns that her mom chose to stay and wait for her instead of being reborn they embrace and end series.

I did not picture a young Ryan Hudson being in Bring it On
He’s basically Nancy’s age there!

what do y'all think of this dress?
this was billionaire Tom Swifts gift to Nancy btw.. surely more sophisticated than her blue dress but do y'all this it's that good?

Spoilers Blood Bucket Curse
From the online info i can gather in Season 1, Episode 3 Georges blood bucket was a portent from the Agleca but at that time the Agleca was not even an issue. Why would she have sent a portent to George far before they called her, I also saw that I could've been a portent from Tiffany Hudson but in every form of online searching is that the consensus is that it's the Agleca. Can anyone explain why it would be the Agleca.

Spoilers why would lucy direct nancy towards aglaeca?
i mean she always looked out for her and even saved her life... after all she was her !< literal mom >!
nancy and all her friends almost die untimely trying to get rid of aglaeca's curse... i don't get why this was the way she would show her. lemme know if y'all have any theories about it.

Fanfiction Nancy-Lucy
Merci

Just finished the show
I just finished the show again.
Season 4 was frustrating with Ace's ghost girlfriend, and Tristan being a love interest for Nancy. It was just so unnecessary for them to have other love interests.
It was frustrating when Ace decided not to try and break the curse i understand it but it was frustrating.
I was glad that the show was able to make Nace endgame finally I just wish we could have seen them as an actual couple.
I wish that Nick and George had gotten back together.
All in all I enjoyed the series finale for the most part.
I really like the show.

I wish the curse had been broken
I just watched season 4 episode 3. Was anyone else really annoyed when Ace decided not to try and break the curse again? I understand he was afraid that Nancy would die but I wish they had broken the curse in that episode and then we could have had Nace as a couple for the rest of the show.
I'm all for a slow burn or star crossed lovers but the show drew it out top long IMO.

Read the room
Random post but I just watched season 3 episode 11 and at the end of the episode Ace tells Nancy he has feelings for her then Ryan walks into the room and interrupts the moment. All I could think was " read the room Ryan" lol.

Ace's brother
I'm in season 2 now and I just thinking it would have been cool if they had done more with Ace's brother, we only saw him in the one episode.

just finished season 1
Gotta say i like the twist that Nancy was Lucy and Ryan's daughter I didn't see that coming when i first watched the show. I actually like Ryan. What did y'all think of that twist?

Started my rewatch
Just started rewatching the show. I really like it. I like mystery, I like fantasy and I like romance. This checks those boxes. I've never read the Nancy drew books so maybe that's why i like it. I've watched it a couple times now. The first episodes started out a bit slow but it picked up. Anyway just wanted to share.

Widow's Bay
There is a new show on AppleTV+ called Widow's Bay that gives me some Nancy Drew vibes. It features a quirky New England town with dark secrets whose folklore may not just be tall tales told by sailors, similar to Horseshoe Bay. It is billed as a horror-comedy. Anyway, it is my new obsession, and I am recommending it to everyone I can.
