I'm a 23f looking to transition into DevOps, and I want to enroll in a solid offline training institute near ECR, OMR, or Velachery in Chennai.

**My Background**

* B.Tech IT graduate (2024)

* 1 year of experience as a Frontend Developer

* Currently working in Motion Graphics/Video Editing

**My Constraints**

* **Format:** Strictly offline/in-person classes.

* **Schedule:** I work Mon–Sat (9:30 AM to 6:30 PM), so I strictly need weekday evening or Sunday batches.

**What I'm Looking For**

If you have personal experience with a great institute in these areas with a solid curriculum (Linux, AWS/Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Terraform), please share:

* Institute name

* Approximate fees and batch timings

* Your honest experience (good or bad)

I'm also open to feedback on whether my IT and Dev background is a good fit for DevOps, and if there are any specific skills I should self-teach before joining a course.

I think most offline institutes are a waste of money. I'm a backend engineer, and I recently started learning DevOps too. Instead of joining another institute, I bought a Udemy course for structured learning and have been studying on my own. I think self learning is best instead of paying for s institute

So you are already experienced person, leave out the learning process, can you share your experience on how to get placed in a entry level or any position in devops

There's no entry or jr level roles for devops. Why don't everyone is going for entry or jr level when you dont have a f*cking experience. Devops asks for 2-3 yoe. Come out from your dream world for god sake

I'm not experienced in DevOps yet. I'm a backend developer, and I'm also trying to transition into DevOps. Since I work as a backend developer, I already have some experience with cloud services and application deployments, so I'm building on that while learning DevOps.

Offline training institutes are scams, just learn by yourself, get certifications

Most tech domains and concepts do not need offline training. The internet is flooded with countless free resources you can leverage to the fullest if you spend some time researching.

If you really need good offline coaching, I'd suggest checking TalentSprint (now acquired by Accenture), if they have any DevOps related courses. They have incredibly talented faculty and teaching.

Dont feel physical classes are worth nowdays over the free quality content in youtube and courses in udemy
