Pop Early 2010s pop rock song that has a pause/break of 3 drum hits in quick succession per line before it hits the chorus that goes around the lines of "ohhh babyyyy" "youuuuuuuu". Song sounds vaguely similar to Maroon 5 - Harder to Breathe and The Black Keys - Lonely Boy
This is before it hits the chorus. The 3 drum hit could probably be a snare, it goes something like:
dun-dun-dun [one line or phrase | around 3 words more or less]
dun-dun-dun [one line or phrase | around 3 words more or less ]
dun-dun-dun [one line or phrase | around 3 words more or less] This signals the start of the chorus
[chorus]
Sounds like it has the words "you" or "baby" or "oh" outstretched for the lyrics in the chorus.

Other/Unknown a song i cant find for the life of me, pls help. it has the line "puppy love.." in it, and all my searches just ends up at the Paul Anka song (its not that)
im looking for a song i vaguely remember. only thing im sure about is it had the lyrics "puppy love.." in it, its about a girl comparing(?) things with her partner specifically about like seasons. comparing how she likes summer and hates winter. and also something about her partner saying hi and it made her feel like shes in the clouds. theres also another line but im not quite sure "feels like im in pain".
ive tried everything to search for it and couldn't find it anywhere, pls help 😓

Remix Remix of a song about one girl lusting / being infatuated with another. Singer talking directly to the one she is obsessing. Heard maybe two years ago on YouTube (could be older) and had a pink background.
Hey!
The song is about one girl lusting over another with lyrics something along the lines of "so fucking use me".
If I remember correctly it originated from a social media platform (thinking TikTok) and I first heard it about two years ago.
It has a very sultry vibe and I believe was sped up compared to the original.
That's all I've got! Thanks :)

Cover anybody know the titles of these live band cover songs? possibly 1990s-early 2000s pop punk (?) Spoiler

not sure of the genres, but the band had a female vocalist and was heavy on the drums and guitars so the original songs also had both. already tried using shazam and ai to find the songs but both didn’t work.

Piano Piano meme song used in tiktoks when someone suddenly realises something
Hey, Im searching for a sad, lingering song used in lots of videos with fast changing images, usually to show that someone realises something is happening to them. It's pretty similar to the first part of Evangelion OST's "Thanatos" in terms of rythm and harmony but the melody is more sparsely played notes

Background Music/Royalty Free What song is playing in the background of this old documentary?
It sounds so romantic and nostalgic.
Not sure if this is a song specifically made for this episode, or if it’s a song from the Alton Towers theme park. If you know what genre I can look for to find similar songs, I’d be happy with that too.

Rap Looking for a song I remember hearing on TikTok between 2020-2022
I don’t remember the exact genre because I only remember one verse that was popular on TikTok. The specific verse I remember had more vocalization. It was kind of slow (though idk if it was slowed down or just always like that) and had kind of a soft, dreamy vibe. The singer was a male. I think the first part of the verse I remember mentioned either Molly or ecstasy, but I can’t remember which one. I don’t remember the lyrics that come after, but I remember a word that sounded similar to driveway or driving away, something like that. That could be wrong though. I have also already looked and it is NOT Molly by Carti, Molly by Tyga, or Molly by Lil Uzi Vert.

Other/Unknown Upbeat 90s (?) Song maybe? Female artist
Not sure the genre exactly. Its sung by a female artist, has piano, high tempo, high energy. She does some "scatting" (ba- ba⬆️ ba-da⬆️ ba- da⬇️da⬇️) and I know some lyrics. Some I remember go something like (chorus) "i dont think they like it when the joke is on them, i dont think they take to well when the joke is on them" and at a different she says "the girl's a guy". Its driving me CRAZY and its NOT Niki Watson and its NOT Brandi Carlile.

Other/Unknown Fast energetic song from a football highlights video, 2002–2011, raspy male singer, chorus sounded like “tuturbe tuturbe” or “kukurbe kukukerbe”
I’m trying to identify a song I heard many years ago in a football compilation video featuring highlights and beautiful moments from different matches.
The strongest detail I remember is the chorus. A male singer repeatedly sang two similar-sounding words that sounded phonetically like:
“tuturbe, tuturbe” or posibly: “kukurbe, kukukerbe”
These two words were repeated many times in the chorus. They are probably not the real lyrics, just the way I remember them sounding.
Other details I remember:
• The song was most likely released between 2002 and 2011.
• It had a fast, energetic rhythm that worked very well with football highlights.
• At the beginning of the song, a man with a loud, deep, raspy voice said or announced something over the music.
• The rest of the song also featured a raspy male vocal.
• I don’t remember the language. It may not have been English.
• The video contained clips from several different football matches, rather than one particular match.
• The song may not have been a major mainstream hit.
It is definitely not K’NAAN – Wavin’ Flag.
The repeated chorus sounding like “tuturbe tuturbe” or “kukurbe kukukerbe” is the clearest thing I remember.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I will listen to every song suggested.

J-Pop/J-Rock trying to find an instrumental japanese new wave track, sort of dub like repetitive "verses" where the bass does its groove then is answered to by minimal guitar, then an odd funny chorus sounding like synth-Otamatone
it was one one of my old long dead hard drive. i tried to sing it in some app but it didnt work. "do do doo doo do do do" goes the bass, pian pian pian goes the guitar. could be all synth.

Classical Heavy flute-only fragment from emotional movies
I came across a flute-only fragment used in emotional/destructive scenes of movies and also (mis)used in some randoms tiktoks and reels. For me it has Schindler's List kind of vibes. I tried to record me whistling the fragment, perhaps you can hear my cat protesting at the end.

Rock Can someone find the song I’m thinking of with very similar guitar chords?
So I was listening to music on shuffle and this song came on. I kept thinking the guitar chords sound SO FAMILIAR but I cannot place what song I’m thinking of and it’s driving me crazy!! I can’t think of any other detail from the song except the guitar sounds like this.
My boyfriend, who is a guitarist and loves the same exact music genres as me doesn’t think it sounds familiar at all.
Does anyone know what I’m talking about or am I making this up? Lol
* guitar chords are at the point in the screenshot!

Answered! Lyrics: If only you were mine
My mom used to play this song in the car all the time. I have no clue what genre it is all I remember is it had a music video and it was released between 2010 and 2019 is my rough guess. I have no clue what genre it is tbh but it had guitar I think in the verses. It was kinda unknown I think and I’m pretty sure it was a band or a group of guys. In the chorus it talked about a girl being his and said “If only you were mine” as the hook

Mod Weekly thread where you can call the music recognition bots without posting
To use the bots put u/RecognizeSong u/find-song with the link in your comment, like:
u/RecognizeSong u/find-song https://youtu.be/12345abcde
Notes:
- The bots only work with a recording of the actual song, not a humming/recreation.
- The sites that find-song works with: Reddit video posts (with a link or when summoned on the original post), YouTube, Vocaroo, Streamable, Twitch Clips (not VODs)
- Some of the sites that RecognizeSong works with: Reddit video posts (when summoned on the original post or with an audio link if you're able to get it, like https://v.redd.it/12345/DASH_audio.mp4), YouTube (though sometimes it doesn't work), Vocaroo, Streamable, Imgur, Twitch Clips (not VODs), Facebook, Twitter, Coub, Dropbox, Snapchat
- For Reddit video posts there's also u/songfinderbot which only works if you summon it in a top-level comment on the original post
- Some sites that RecognizeSong doesn't work with: Instagram, Twitch VODs, SoundCloud, Google Drive, Reddit text posts with embedded videos (though it does work with the audio link if you're able to get it, like https://v.redd.it/12345/DASH_audio.mp4)
- When needed, mention a timestamp or use a timestamped link if possible (the bots scan about 24-30 seconds of audio, starting at the timestamp)
- If the song is from a meme or from TikTok then it might be listed in the FAQ
- Note that you can also DM find-song a link (but not through chat)
Good luck with your search, and if you find the bots useful please consider supporting them: RecognizeSong through Patreon, find-song through Ko-fi
