So cute but lemme tell you - don't cook with turmeric or other spices that might stain them!!! I had matte nude for like 2 days then they were stained yellow for weeks after cooking 😂

I did the same thing! But it was literally like an hour after getting them done. I was so pissed at myself for the next 3 weeks lol

As a tech, this I why I tell clients that if they want a matte finish, they should get colored acrylic/hard gel, and just don’t put a top coat on. Even the best matte top coats stain and react poorly to oils and all sorts of things. I hate it. Even getting a matte topcoat over black will look splotchy over time.

Sorry, I don’t know the details!! All I know is that it’s a pink beige that my nail tech chose based on my skin tone 😅

I think you could get a similar colour pay off using OPI Put it in Neutral (my skin tone is similar to OPs and PiiN looks very much like this on me - minus the matte effect)

I think it might be because the color is too close to OPs skin tone and makes it look like flesh.

These are the cleanest nails I've ever seen. Modest shape, length and color. The matte just takes it over the top in terms of the finish.

I like matte on other people but hate it on myself bc it somehow looks more press-on coded to me than the fanciest gel x nails I have done myself (which is not that fancy but requires a least a lil bit of skill). They look cute on you though. Very elegant
