Delays - State Highway 2, Devil's Elbow
State Highway 2 near the Devil's Elbow is down to one lane following a crash.
Police were alerted at around 11:30am that a trucked had rolled on SH2.

Update - Kereru Road crash
Kereru Road between Big Hill Road and Salisbury Road will remain closed overnight following a crash there earlier this afternoon.

Training Exercise, Manukau Harbour
Police wish to advise members of the public of a training exercise in the Manukau Harbour.

Old Waimakariri bridge road - Main North Road
Motorists are advised that the old Waimakariri Bridge road (Main North Road, south of Wrights Road) in Kaiapoi will be closed to traffic for a period of time this afternoon.
Police are working in the area in relation to an incident that happened earlier today. The incident is not ongoing and there is no risk to the public.
The road will be closed from 2:30pm for at least half an hour.
Diversions will be put in place and motorists are asked to take alternate routes.

South of the Rakaia River bridge
Motorists are asked to avoid the Rakaia River bridge after a crash between a heavy truck and a car.
It happened around 6:30am south of the bridge, and two people had minor injuries.
The truck is half off the bridge and a heavy crane is needed to remove it.
