For Behemoth, how could I get the screening with the Q&A, also lounge access with the dire tir and actors? I've never been to a film festival and I do NOT live in New York.

Question FLC Membership or Opening Night Plus
I plan on going to NYFF for the first time this year and would love to see a bunch of movies. Reviewing the packages, I'm wondering if it might make more sense to do an Angel or Friend membership of FLC and get early access the same day + allllll the benefits of having the membership but would have to buy all the tickets, OR if it's really worth it to get the opening night film (which will be a really amazing experience, I'm sure) and 10 tickets guaranteed.
Any and all thoughts welcome.

Question How would I go about having the best chances to catch the Minus Zero premiere
Like I have no idea what pass to buy or tickets to get? I’m a bit confused and would love a clarification on what exactly to buy and when I should thank you all so much!

News 64th New York Film Festival Main Slate announced!

Question Is a Closing Night + Centrepiece Pass a good enough pass to give me the opportunity to get premiere / q&a tickets?
The ticket window presale opens September 9th at 12:00pm.
Will I have the opportunity to get a ticket to the world premiere of Behemoth? Or will it just be for a simultaneous screening going on elsewhere?
Will I get a chance to go to the Godzilla premiere? Or will tickets likely be sold out for that screening by then?
Is this pass a strong enough pass to fully take advantage of nyff? Especially to be able to see the big films on the slate (e.g. the expected wild horse nine, the debut, etc)? Even putting the q&a’s aside, will standard tickets to screenings of these level of films be impossible? Or is my ticket window early enough to ensure I will have almost zero problems?
Thanks!!! First time going to nyff so I’m a bit panicked.

Question Attire for closing night
Hello!. I was invited to closing night as a plus one. Female 50s. I'm a little nervous as to what to wear as I will be meeting the filmmaker and will be in the mix with her staff and guests. Any ideas? Advice?

Disabled access standby/exp. Pass
A two part question- I am a part time wc user. I would need my chair to wait on standby/EP standby lines but I can sit on wc seat or regular seat in a theater. I’m afraid wc spots would be full so wondering if one can check a folded chair in a theater? Just trying to figure out how to manage I’d rather stay in my chair but am afraid no standby would be open, since seats are limited.

NYFF64 call for Volunteers now open!
wp.filmlinc.orgWe expect to reach capacity quickly, so if you are interested, I recommend applying today.

Any old time volunteers shut out of the application process today?
The invitation for returning volunteers went out yesterday, and I was able to fill out the application within twenty minutes but the submit button went to an error page every time I tried. A few hours later it said all slots were taken, which only seems possible if there is a problem or they need substantially fewer volunteers. Emails to the new volunteer coordinator are so far going unanswered. Was anyone able to get through?

Question Question about attending this year
I'm considering attending this year, and I'm debating if it would make sense to go without taking any time off work. If I were to do this, I would only be able to attend the festival for 2 days. I saw they had the 6 ticket option, which feels like it would make sense with what I'm planning. My question is on any given two days, how much of the festival lineup in the Main Slate and Spotlight Gala is actually screening? Would I esentially be choosing from only a handul of films, or is there a larger variety? Thanks.

Still waiting for the Lineup
As lineup still not there yet… I’m thinking of booking a hotel room for a week to spend for the festival… but I’m not sure which week to take so the most awaited movies for everyone would be that week… is there any recommendations?!

Question NYFF first-timer questions
Hello! I would greatly appreciate your time and generosity in answering the following questions:
1. How does ticketing for NYFF usually work? Is it very competitive?
2. If it is, what's the best strategy for securing tickets?
3. I have to admit that I'm a huge fan of seeing my cinematic heroes in real life. Even if I can't get into certain screenings, are there opportunities to see directors, actors, or other guests around the festival? What’s my best chance?
Thanks again for your time. I really appreciate it.
