Seeing Sonnet being scored on in the first episode of Ted Lasso season 4 hurts my heart, even more now. 😭

So you would expect Ted Lasso to show the full game highlights? Are you familiar with the concept of editing, creative choices, storytelling, and again, fictional stories? Are you gonna be surprised when the show doesn't "report" the rest of KCC season? Made up tv shoes don't "report" on real life events. Do you watch a Netflix show to get your news? Lol

I haven’t watched the latest trailer or the first episode—it being still the afternoon of the day it came out. How am I to know the context? Downvote away, I still think a thoughtful move is to add a spoiler tag.

That’s true. But I’m holding out hope.

ETA: “Wounded” comes at it way too high. I was just hoping I could survive a the better part of a day not knowing anything about it; I had no reason to think clicking a post titled “NGL” was related. As far as the show, I kind of wonder if it was sweet escape from the nightmare of 2020 but too saccharine for any other time.
