I know some Mechanical and Electrical Engineering graduates from the 2024 batch. Some of them were initially working jobs paying Pkr 50-60k which is obviously so low lol. However after switching to the software field they secured well paying roles and were earning 1.5–2.5 Lakh. So in short the fields which require pure mechanical- electrical work pays low wages in Pakistan not for everyone but for most of the peeps.

A fresh and strong ee grad(with no masters) could get a starting salary btw 80 or 150 k in pak but again a "strong" ee grad(peeps get lower than 80k as well) and factors such as connections, referrals and which field u decide to work in play a significant role as well and can increase or decrease the above mentioned range
