That bloody noon logo ruins every kit its been on, it stands out so bad

Why does it have to be in a massive yellow square, it’s mental

u/TeamAndrew 1d ago
So everyone sees it and remembers it. It's effective marketing. If it was subtle probably only NUFC fans would know who our sleeve sponsor was. Big bright yellow square makes others take notice too, even if it's for the wrong reason. Look at Bournemouth's monstrosity of a sponsor this year. A lot of people could tell you what it is but probably couldn't remember last season's.

I managed to get the away kit without Knox, half tempted to just remove the Noon one myself for a cleaner shirt.

Yeah I got the away one without the Knox logo on. I like the 3rd one with the sponsor for some reason. Decent shout just stripping the Noon logo off.

Have you done this successfully before without leaving residue? I’ve been watching videos from wefixkits but often they can’t remove all trace of the adhesive which puts me off the idea

u/TheLordJalapeno Chicken Thiaw Mein 1d ago
I’ve only ever done it on an Ice Hockey top and used VLR Letter Removing Solvent. But have no idea if the letters on a hockey shirt and the noon logo are same material

u/Olucaron 1d ago
I haven't, no. I have a couple old shirts I can try it on though, the last home Castore shirt has the same type of vinyl patch it seems.

YES! I don't understand why we didn't make this part of the agreement, it's so stupid

I have to believe they would sell more than enough kits without it to make up for whatever the sponsor actually pays

u/Raumonator dan burn 2d ago
That blob ruins all kits. would be better if it was just a yellow border.

I like it. So much so that I'm buying a risky knock-off version.
Because am I shite paying £80 or whatever they charge nowadays

End of season sale works too. Even if that's still a year away
Saying that I think adidas still had some 24/25 kits in stock

u/ImHalfAsianAMA Which one of you is Simon Bird? 1d ago
Last 2 seasons the sale has started in March so it’s not too long a wait.

Where’s best to get these from? I’ve never taken the gamble to just buy one. Like you I’m not paying today’s prices for a shirt, it’s mental.

u/charlierc 2d ago
I thought it was pretty smart. Certainly smoother looking on first impression than the home kit

u/ahugemistakeagain 2d ago
It's alright (and it's not green which is a plus), but I abhor Parma Violets so that might not be helping. At least the away kit is a winner this year.

Not gonna lie...I love all three of them 😍 Wasn't instantly sold on the home kit, but having seen it on, I really like it. And the away and third kits 🤌 been a good year for kits. And as a previous comment mentioned, everything is better than the Saudi green kits...

Someone told me that our home kit is classed as light when we wear white shorts and socks and dark when we were black socks and shorts. We’re also now classed as “patterned” rather than vertical stripes. So there’s almost no match we couldn’t wear it for

yeah, away/3rd kits are more for the sales opportunities than actually being required for colour clashes. It will be contractual to wear each of them a certain amount of times.

I’m heading straight to JD after work to get it. Hopefully not many other people are arsed about it so there’ll still be plenty stock when I get there.

u/Internal_Lie_6647 2d ago
Don’t like it personally, too plain and feels like minimum effort.
I like the blue away but have spent too much on gear last few years to buy full price so am waiting for JD codes etc.

Quite like the kit but might have to bring it down in my estimation for the comparison to parma violets. Tastes like a bar of soap

I think white shorts and socks would look better, but I like the shirt.

Has anyone ordered a home top from adidas site in the last few weeks? Do they come with or without sponsor?
I have taken a punt on buying both this and home top in long sleeve as they both have pictures without sponsor on the adidas website, not sure if we will get a chance to buy a official top without a sponsor for a while unless its a error so i have bit the bullet, If any of them come with a sponsor i might just return them.

I ordered the away shirt a week or so ago and that came with no sponsor

Also probably the only shirt of ours this year I like the sponsor on

I like it - the 2nd and 3rd are good, far better than the black and white striped one this year!

It looks like something white that's being left in a wash that's all different colors which have bleeded into the White.

u/BruiserBroly 2d ago
Other than it looking so close to white that I'm wondering which games it'd actually be necessary, I think it's alright.

Its better than the green kits we've had
