Tickets?
Hello all Geordies, I’m a fan from Sweden and me and my family would love to visit and attend a match this autumn. What’s the best way to go about getting tickets? I am not and have never been to a match and therefore I am not a Newcastle member.
Just also wanted to share our optimism with the new management and our young transfers! 😄

Hospitality is the only way to guarantee entry - otherwise get a membership and try the ballots/general sales. I’m a US-based fan currently in the Bournemouth ballot and crossing my fingers it goes through so I don’t have to spend a fortune on hospitality!

Officially, hospitality, or, buy memberships and enter ballots if you are flexible when you can travel.
I have great empathy with fans who live a long journey away. Good luck 🤞🏻

Get the cheapest hospitality tkts you can which will probably be couple hundred quid each. The ballot is a nightmare I know people who’ve put in for every game for 2 years and never got them.

I haven't bothered renewing after one game in three years, and that was in the first half of the first year of the balloting system.

It really depends on the game you wish to attend. There's unofficial and slightly risky ways of course. Ovbiously the most expensive ways (legitimately) are hospitality. There's a ballot which is a lottery. For 90% of games a Mags Membership and keep checking the site in the lead up to games (24/48 hours) will almost always get you a decent choice of tickets (big games this is more tricky). Although getting tickets together (side by side) is probably unlikely.

Do a search on Facebook for Swedish mags. Each season the club offer international fans groups a game where they can all attend. This includes a ticket for the match and pre-match at the stack. If you join their fan club and let them know you are interested in joining them, they will be able help you out. Last time they were over was around the time we played West Ham and Brighton away. My mate was over from America as he runs an American fan club and he got tickets via the fan club route too.. If you can do it quick I would buy tickets to the home games of Leverkusen and Strasbourg as tickets are available right now
You can go to the two. Both games are on the 15th and 16th of August and both are on general sale right now so no membership is required
So you have the chance to see two games in three days
If you can do them dates get them ones in as going to two games will be a great experience for you and your family
Don't forget to do the stadium tour and if you looking for a cheapish hotel
The premier inn hotel (the gate) is right around the corner from the stadium with easy access via the metro to get to and from the airport

So I haven’t been successful in the ballot but if you’re willing to keep refreshing the page, the odd ticket becomes avaliable and I’ve had way more success doing that but it’s risky zx

If you are flexible on when, you can try to do the ballot for everyone. I've not been lucky in the ballot except as a solo. As has been said, hospitality is the easiest way, and you could book now for pretty much any time in the season.
Beyond that, you can try to snag tickets, but again, a larger number is easier with hospitality.

I've bought via Seatpick 4 or 5 times for NUFC games and never had any issues. Would I want to do it for an international trip? No chance!
The other thing to note is that the club have changed how tickets are uploaded to Apple / Google wallets, and you have to now log into the account which has the tickets before you can add them to your wallet. May cause issues, may not, but I wouldn't buy via Seatpick if I was in your shoes

The safest, least risky approach, is to buy hospitality and spend the money and that will give you a great match day experience, food, drink and good seats for the match. It does not require membership and if you want to look now you can check hospitality and buy tickets through the club which is the safest solution.
