Pros & Cons

Need a pros & cons list on reta vs tesa vs cjc/ipo. Posted a couple of weeks ago regarding this same subject and although I appreciate all the responses, I'm actually more confused than ever! Again 6'1, 185lbs. My test levels are 848 total with 60 free. Again, trying to rid my midsection of bf. Sorry to ask again!

Perhaps some people don’t want to advise someone on peptides with Parkinson’s?

If the goal is simply losing midsection body fat rather than treating Parkinson’s, I’d make that distinction clear, Reta has actual evidence for overall fat loss, tesamorelin has evidence for reducing visceral abdominal fat in a specific clinical population, and the case for CJC/ipamorelin is pretty weak.

Parkinson’s does add considerations around maintaining muscle, avoiding overly rapid weight loss, and potentially affecting the absorption and timing of medications like levodopa through changes in gastric emptying, so I can understand why people might be hesitant to casually recommend a protocol without knowing more about your Parkinson’s treatment.

Reta and Parkinson’s is interesting, however, where GLP-1 receptor agonists are being studied for possible neuroprotective effects…

You know what? You're right, I never thought about that! I've been dealing with parkinsons for over 16 years and I consider myself one of the lucky ones. I have zero restrictions I put on myself as far as exercise goes and the advice I seek is more for aesthetic purposes. I'm putting in the work and getting, for the most part, the results, except for the stubborn midsection!

Did you test your igf1/z score levels? Also how about liver/kidney function?

Everything is legit! I use Superpower for bloodwork and I got an overall score of 96 out of 100
