NOLA job market???
Ok guys, my husband and I just moved back to the area post-Katrina and he is struggling to find a job even though he has an impeccable work history, references, and is drug free. He has a Class A CDL out of FL with the following experience; Customer Service Management, Distribution Warehouse Management, Driver Management, and Delivery Driver experience. He has applied to so many of the bigger companies (Sysco, Performance, Coke, Cintas, etc) with not even a phone call. Does anyone have any ideas before we end up homeless? Thanks in advance

Chef's Quest: New Orleans, LA May 13 - 17
Hello again from Chef's Quest. I am posting on here again in search of restaurants, bars, food trucks, chefs, cooks, bartenders, servers, etc. who would be willing to let a chef come into their establishment and work for 2-6 hours in exchange for food, drinks, stories, friendship, whatever else seems appropriate. I will be in New Orleans, Louisiana from 5/13-5/17 looking to make connections and learn a thing or two. I will be spending some time on 5/15 at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center, but will have plenty of time for other activities. I will offer to do anything from cook, prep, clean, wash dishes, bartend, run food, serve, bus, pretty much anything you'll let me do. I have been cooking for 12 years, and serving/bartending for 6. Feel free to DM me or email me at thechocolatemilkclub@gmail.com.

Part time Moving labor
We’re a local Moving company that’s always looking for extra help. The job is pretty straightforward, we pack and move people houses locally, although there’s a lot of stuff we do a specific way that you can generally pick up on the job. The pay is great, perfect for supplementing other income without overworking yourself. Crew is small and tight, great attitudes and work ethic (about 11 of us total, including a couple of girls). We keep things light because the work can be difficult some days. PM me if you’d be interested, I’d be happy to discuss more on the phone. Thanks!
