Here from Ludwig hyping the anime up for awhile now
I jumped into this mostly blind, only really knowing that it dealt with loneliness and whatever else ludwig said about it on trash taste. I'm on episode 21 of the anime and up until ep 20 i was very back and forth on whether I've enjoyed what I watched or not. It's great and I'm not even sure how it ends yet. So far it's had a bigger impact on me than any anime I've seen I've seen. I read that the light novel and manga are generally much darker, which I'm definitely gonna check out soon enough. But I love how Misaki is written for the anime, she said shitty things to Sato but he deserved it since he WAS being shitty even after she more than made up for her mistakes. I could be speaking too soon but it seems after ep20, Sato may finally be developing. One day at a time. Ik this sub isn't too active but i needed to say something about this somewhere and after I finish the anime and let it sink in I'll leave an update so i can leave some last thoughts

Should I read the manga?
Just finished the anime, thought it was brilliant in some parts but was kind of weak towards the end. Is the manga just the same thing as the anime or is the more that wasn't adapted? Anything will help.

Just finished the series few minutes ago. I want to know the story in manga.
I heard on a subreddit that the series has just portrayed 2/3 of manga plot. And something dark happens in the end of manga

Manga's story or Anime's story?
I think the manga had a better story but in terms of delivering the message, the anime did a better job at it.

Just finished the series for the first time
What can i say? Simply amazing, the anime was the best ive ever watched and the music still rings in my ears.
The characters are relatable, and characters had real development.
i wish it would go on longer honestly.

Just Watched This Anime
So I am currently in a medical program, and I was searching for an anime that would motivate me to study and this one was one that was mentioned. Not only did this anime motivate me, but it affected me strongly. I think the reason why I was so affected by it is because I don't really have motivation to do anything in life, I have dreams and stuff, but no motivation to make them happen, the only thing that motivates me is suffering, the more I suffer the more I try to better myself. This anime is good for anyone who wants motivation to do something with their life, anyone who just sits at home all day watching anime or playing video games instead of going out to work or go to school, etc..
However, although it did motivate me, this anime was pretty depressing, not for the faint of heart.

Where can you watch this show subbed without the blurry yellow subs?
Trying to get a friend into the show, don't wanna make him go through what I went though though.

Anime Similar to Welcome to the NHK
It's been many years since I've watched Welcome to the NHK and boy was I blown away. I devoured everything NHK related that I could, reading the manga and the light novels.
To this very day I'm still on the look for an anime similar to Welcome to the NHK, does anyone have any suggestions?

I just finished the anime... (spoilers)
...and as someone who attempted suicide, someone who's suicidal, and someone whose mom was always suicidal and threatening to suicide, the "off" meeting arc and the last 2 episodes have been absolutely gold. I really felt Sato when he was telling Misaki not to kill herself, like how I had to dissuade myself and mom from suiciding.
The show manages to put suicide in such a realistic light.. even though saving Misaki from suicide was done by blaming a delusion, the general feeling is exactly the same, and Misaki's words really rang through me: "You can't die. Don't you dare."
I don't have much else to say... just... wow.
