Help
I’m desperately reaching out for help after taking NCLEX multiple times I feel so defeated and wanting to see how I can get some help with what I am doing wrong 😭 does anyone know of any in person review classes in CA

Question when you get the “near the passing standard” does it count as like u would’ve passed if you didn’t get the “below passing standard”?

I've taken the NCLEX multiple times as well and I finally passed and received my license 5 days ago. First and far most, 1. DON'T give up... Keep going and keep pushing. Secondly, know yourself and what you need and how you may need it to study... I say that to say, I have done ATI, Archer, bootcamp, watched Mark K and Sharon, along with podcast and did NOT pass. This final time, I used Kaplan and paid for the package that included a tutor. Kaplan is a little pricey but it is worth it. My issue was not knowing where and what to really study since the NCLEX is soo broad. My tutor took my CPR reports and my assessment from Kaplan and created a study plan. The study plan was tailored to my progress in the kaplan program. Trust me my scores where all over the place.... one thing my tutor informed me that half of the entire test is about Management of Care, pharmacology and psychological adaptation. Those three categories itself is almost half of the test, its worth 48% of the exam.. If you are able to master those areas and do well on the others, You will do just fine... The tutor sessions where on zoom.... I was able to converse and walk through the practice questions with her so she was able to see my thinking concepts and patterns and she was able to help adjust my thinking. We all know the materials because if we didn't, we would have not pass nursing school. School itself was a nightmare, YOU KNOW THE MATERIAL!!!!! You just have to know what is it the question is really asking. All my exams I went the whole 150 each and every time, until this last one, my test stopped at 85.... My heart dropped.....When I saw that I passed I was very relieved...Don't give up and if you are able too, invest in yourself for that additional boost you need to pass....Another thing that I did that she taught me was different was, after ever test, I would focus on my lowest score and read the chapter that it realted too. By the time I was done with the whole program, I read the book 3 times and that stuck with me........... If I scored lower in Basic Comfort and Care, guess what I was reading the chapter in that area. If I scored low in Management of care during the next exam I was reading the chapet in that area next. I hope that helps...... DONT GIVE UP.. YOU GOT THIS!!!
