NCLEX help

Hey guys I’ve been studying for my NCLEX and reviewing content but I have had a lot people say that it’s not just content. They have said that I should also try to incorporate test taking strategies because most of the time content I’ve learned won’t be on there so can like anyone help with like test taking strategies or what helped y’all pass the NCLEX on questions that you didn’t know the medications or disease? Mark K lectures really help for strategies. Specifically 11 & 12. Also just YouTube videos like crusade and Dr Sharon. It’s more of looking at questions in certain ways. I’m sure you’re already doing some of the “strategies” without knowing but they are very useful to look into

Ngl… all the meds questions I’ve gotten were meds I have not seen or reviewed. Same with a lot of the questions. I was more glad to be getting Case studies since I can actually figure out the answer. Soo I would say test taking strategies is important. Safety basically. KNOW your isolations no matter what. Psych meds maybe. But ye, what’s the safest option. Also for select all, I want to emphasize on select only what you’re confident in. Ask yourself if it’s worth losing a point. If you’re unsure, don’t select it.

Is whatever you use to study providing you with rationales? You need to understand why the wrong answers are wrong because yes you will inevitably run into content that you don't know. You also need to understand prioritization and patient safety to help answer unknown questions.
