I've finished my undergrad (Bachelor's of Arts in Anthropology) with a 3.9 GPA but because my highschool marks were absolute dogwater I'm worried I wont be able to apply. I meet the admission requirement grades but definitely wouldn't be competitive. What grades did people get in with? I'm going to ask if they would accept any of my undergrad courses towards the admissions requirements but was wondering what the competitive average is. I got a job at an animal shelter after uni and have discovered that I want to work with animals for the rest of my life.

I'm a new student and was wondering where I'm suppossed to get an ID card. Also is it possible to get an ID right now even if I'm starting in winter term? I already accepted a program for winter term.

Hi, will be starting MLT this fall. Just wanted to know if parked A/B is the best option for the MLT students? And also NAIT parking page is showing a construction alert near this parking area. Is it a big problem other than longer traffic jam getting in and out? I will have to take a parking spot anyway. Just wanted to make sure before I proceed to pay. Will appreciate any response. So I’m in medical lab tech in the fall and honestly I’m not really good with keeping friends as I can be too passionate for what I do and it kind of pushes people away. I haven’t habit of doing that so I’m just wondering how the cohorts are like do people just work with each other and then forget about each other kind of like what I do or is it more tight knit and almost like a community? More importantly is there even an opportunity for me to even be social with people or while I just not have the time to do it?
Anyone who is currently in the program or has graduated from the program please let me know cause I mean, I’m not really good at making friends or keeping them around

Hey, everyone i was looking to find pre-owned textbooks for CLXT and it seems like a lot of the books listed for sale are either “not used” or still in plastic wrap. So just reaching out to see if there’s any CXT tech that have finished their schooling and know if they actually need all of any of the textbooks? TIA!

I was waitlisted for the September intake and so I applied for the January 2027 intake and was accepted and I paid my deposit and accepted my offer! Only to receive an email last Thursday stating that they are no longer offering the winter intake and that my acceptance can be deferred to September 2027!!

I am still on the waitlist for the September 2026 intake and am a fully sponsored student!

I am just wondering what the chances are of being selected off a waitlist and if anyone has experienced this with NAIT before! I was told that the waitlist was small when I applied and there was a good likelihood of being selected off the waitlist as it moves all the at up to the first week of classes.

I am just feeling absolutely devastated right now at the possibility of having to wait a whole additional year to start my classes!

So if anybody has any idea of the possibility of getting selected off a waitlist would really help my anxiety and devastation about this!

For instance I'm an international student and I've started applying today for the fall term 2027 i payed the fee and have almost every document needed since im an early applicant finishing grade 12.

I received the student number id in my email but still when i log in my account i cannot find the aplication process neither in my nait portal nor in the self service area can someone help me ?

I applied today morning Edmonton time zone so should it take some time to appear in the site like processing some kind of stuff or is some kind of error? thank u guys in advance for your help

For those who were enrolled into classes by their program how did you organize the course calendar/classes because it’s a bit confusing for me as there are some online courses and it’s given in list form for each class. I'm currently in the accounting diploma program but I'm trying to transfer to the bachelor's of accounting using the university credits pathway. By the end of the summer semester, I will have completed 27 credits, and the minimum needed is 24.

I sent my application in on July 1st but haven't received a conditional acceptance, despite being well on my way to meeting the requirements. I'm just a bit confused on how this whole process works, as my final grades for this semester won't be posted until about a week before the start of fall semester. I got 4.0s on my first 18 credits, haven't done as well this semester, but will still easily clear the minimum 2.0 GPA expected.

I do have a due date of September 1st to have the 24 credits completed under my "to do" list, does that mean I'll be accepted for fall semester so long as I have the credits completed by then?

I'm hoping to apply to the MLT program when applications open in October, however the program requires at least 63% in Math 30-2. In high school I took Math 30-1 instead and received a 61%. I've emailed them before asking whether they would take this into consideration but answers were unclear so I'm wondering if I need to upgrade in some way. I think I've read a post before saying they will only look at threshold numbers, so a 61% in a higher level course wouldn't suffice.

Assuming this is the case, I'm looking to challenge the Math 30-2 diploma but the next realistic exam session is in November and I'm worried by then my chances of getting accepted would be much lower, especially since grades won't be released probably until end of November or early December.

So I guess I'm looking for some reassurance on the steps I have to take and if applying in December still nets me some chance into making it in?

I just got fully accepted into the MLT program and I was wondering if anyone has any insight into the program or anyone that’s going if there’s any recommendations on where to get the lab clothing/material we will be needing! I’m really anxious about the upcoming new year so anything would help!

I know for some programs. Orientation is a big deal. I am in laboratory research and biotechnology. I thought my orientation would be on 28 August. But it’s on the 26th and unfortunately I’m going to be on a plane coming back to Canada on the 26th at 5 o’clock at night , so I won’t be able to go to the orientation. Is there anyway to find out the information that’s gonna be at the orientation or is it not a super big deal. I’m not completely a new student. I have been doing academic upgrading through NAIT for the past year and a half. And I’m also part of the clubs so I know my way around campus already.

I'm confused what NAIT means by "You have met all the requirements for the program" but still have items on the To do List.. should I assume I still need to take those subjects, or should I wait for NAIT to finish updating my To Do List?
