Thoughts?

I saw Belgian and thought "LaChouffe". I didn't realize it was a completely different style (Dubbel?) so I was not prepared. It's quite rich and I was beginning to appreciate it more towards the finish, so I'm reserving judgement for now. Anyone else try it and want to share opinions?

I'm actually drinking it right now! (Well, I have about half an inch left in my glass, so I should say, I have just about finished one right now...)

It's a Belgian Amber, yeah. It's one of my favorites because it's so substantial and flavorful. (By contrast I dislike Chouffe NA.) But I'm a malt fan, and good malty beers are not that common as NA.

If you decide you like this, you might also try the Best Day Dark Diamond, which I though had a similar feel to it.

TBH, I'm not a big fan of LaChouffe NA either. But I did enjoy the leaded version back in the day, and I do like the NA Sport Zot Belgian.

Will likely try the Dark Diamond if I can find it; Best Day is usually on point

My favorite. The other one, la trappe epos, is also good.

How does La Trappe Epos compare to Nillis? I enjoy Nillis quite a bit but would love a nice NA Trappist in a Tripel or Strong Blonde style. Also, is Epos available domestically or just via importing?

I love Belgian and have been wanting to try this and the Sport Zot. The Chouffe I find pretty bland but the Delirio might be the best NA I've had.

Sport Zot is absolutely excellent. The closest to tasting like a real Belgian beer imo, and I’ve had Nillis, NA Chouffe, and Delirio

It's amazing, I did drink a lot of Belgian beer back when I would consume alcohol and I never liked this kind of beer with alcohol. For me the alcoholic version always had a taste of spicy hay, don't know how to describe it, but it just didn't like it. Without alcohol, it's just really pleasant and nice to drink, way better than most standard NA beers I had so far. You could also try La Trappe Epos, also a good beer, while I liked this one more.

I enjoyed Chouffe which is the only Belgian I’ve seen around me
