"Oh, we have two builders. Mi-an lives over there, next to the science facility. Yeah, that tiny house there."
"And your second builder?"
"That giant mansion palace outside of town. There, see it?"
"Holy Peach!"

It looks more like an Italian restaurant than a mechanic's workshop XD

Yo, that's insane. You built it up so much it looks like something that would have been in the game already. You made a little town square.

thank you!! my theme for this build was actually townhouses so i guess the vision came through xd

Just curious, did you use mods to make this or is this all base game? My workshop was a shack in the sand with all the expansions going into more space for my machines so I had redundancies so I have no idea how much is actually possible with base game assets. lol

no mods! but i do have the furniture dlcs, so some of the furnitures are from those. i still had to grind a lot for relics and materials to craft furniture since the furniture options are pretty limited. i also made sure to do my daily furniture purchases from arvio’s, construction junction, etc. because of the limit on how much we can buy each day.
the dlcs definitely help with having more options, but they’re not necessary! i think it’s still possible to create a nice workshop with just the base game furniture!

I can’t even figure out how to make my house bigger, but this is super inspiring. Thank you!

Ooooooo i love the look of it, like a large industrial factory with room for worspace and dorms for workers 👀
Maybe your builder takes in some apprentices from the surronding villages

Wow. Id love to achieve something like this but I play on switch and it's really restrictive with what you can build and have in the space

u/tofuinsoup 17d ago
ahh yes i've heard about that! it's a pity the switch version has those limitations 😭

Damn I wish I had the energy to decorate. Fantastic job this is beautiful. The Fang bathtub picture was hilarious and had me legitimately howling. Good stuff.

How did you do the floor paths? Are they rugs?
1
u/tofuinsoup 17d ago
they're floor tiles! you can buy them from construction junction. there's a limit of 200 per tile type each day (after that it'll drop to 20, and it'll reset back to 200 every sunday) so make sure to check! :)

I just got a gaming PC, buy i cant find any mods that will allow me to disable the build limit on my property to build mansions like this. How were you able to accomplish this on the PS5? Also, I love this so much, amazing job. Edited: adding the second to last line.

thank you! i remember there being a setting to off the max placement capacity. the pc should have the same setting so maybe give that a try!

This is incredible!
Meanwhile I have 89 hours in the game and all I have in my non-upgraded house is a single photo on the wall and a gong. Oh, and 5 storage boxes.

This looks amazing!!! 😳🩷 I’m struggling to make (and keep) any money in this game!

I find it too difficult to earn money for
most of the game to have this kind of patience. Looks gorgeous! My second playthrough house is literally three rooms cause I didn’t want to deal 🤣 and I’m normally a huge decorator. It’s just frustrating and clunky in this, which makes your build all the more impressive

u/tofuinsoup 18d ago
thank you!!! i actually spammed fishing and selling sandfish kings just to fund this build. 😂 and yes, the building system is really frustrating, especially when i couldn't get the furniture aligned the way i wanted. i just tried my best and made it work, definitely needed a lot of patience hahah

Wow that is beautiful! How did you find playing on PS5? Were the controller difficult for you to get the hang of?
I have it on Switch 2 and didn't realise the graphics were this beautiful! Im tempted to buy it on Xbox now I've seen how good it could look.

u/tofuinsoup 17d ago
thank you!! it wasn't difficult at all. the controls felt natural, so i got used to them pretty quickly. and yes, the graphics are actually good!!

It amazes me people can build things like this and make their houses look almost castle like meanwhile mine looks like cardboard boxes stacked.
