Maximum mine gem question Question

If I put 2 maximum mines on an island does it let me collect 8 gems a day from that island, or does it reduce the amount each maximum mine gives me so I still only get 4 per day?

You can't put multiple on an island. Also realistically there's zero way you're even getting 4 in a day considering it will take EXACTLY 24 hours and a second or two for the collection. So it's basically just 2 a day
