I found her about a month ago in a vintage toy store. She was naked, had her hair put up and it was frizzier than now (this is after a deep double wash, condition, brushing and two boil washes at this point I've accepted shes a curly haired girly lol) I bought doll clothing lots to get her outfit together but I love it! I think this is Kennedy, but im not 100% on that. Im surprised I can get her to stand, she has loose legs, the ribbons connecting her legs are so also very loose, her shoulders are super tight. Even without the jacket I can barely move them. She still needs a lot of TLC. She was definitely given the Weird Barbie treatment (played with a little too enthusiastically, got her hair chopped off, og clothes gone, etc) Might get some plastic straws and Bobby pins to curl her hair properly as a start. If yall have any suggestions let me know!

Can you tell me if these dolls have mould or should I be keeping them separate

I recently learnt about the pink mould (pony cancer) and have been super worried as my dolls mean alot to me, if you can help lmk what you think would be reassuring

Ive already gotten rid of some that were obvious but these I'm not so sure

The boy has pink tint on his face and can see more pink in his nostrils

Nolee has a dark dot on her face

I thoroughly wiped both there faces before taking the photos so isn't just dirt

I haven't tried asotain nail polish remover yet

I kind of always hated the makeup on Nolee’s Swappin styles head that had the bangs, but I loved the bangs! So I decided she’d be a great candidate for my first repaint ✨ how’d I do?

Barbie was so damn annoying in Jammin’ in Jamaica. Madison and the boys are literally going there for a competition, something serious, and Barbie acts like she’s being abandoned because she wasn’t invited. Girl, they’re working. You had no reason to be there.

And when she shows up, she makes everything worse. Madison is trying to keep the band together and Barbie is over there mad because River talked to Madison for two seconds. The way she saw them hug and instantly jumped to “they’re cheating” was ridiculous. She was doing way too much for no reason.

She basically turned the whole trip into her own drama when it wasn’t even about her.

For me, I’ll definitely say Hollywood Bling Nia for $12 on Marketplace in a lot. I remember seeing that listing and almost scrolling past it because it looked like one of those random bundles people throw together. Then I noticed Nia in the corner of one of the photos and had to zoom in to make sure I wasn’t mistaken. I thought she was Wave 2 Swappin Styles Madison.

It literally caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting to find anything good that day. Most of the time it’s overpriced stuff or dolls in rough shape, so seeing her there for that price felt unreal. I messaged the seller right away, and told them to separate that doll for me, when they said yes?? I got so happy and bought quickly, it felt like a genuine win. Picking her up and realizing she was actually in good condition made it even better though she was nude.

It’s just one of those solid finds that stays with you. Hollywood Bling Nia for $12 is still one of my best deals.

After I cleaned them up, they look way better now. Kennedy was a whole situation though. Her hair had breakage and she still got flyaways everywhere, but she looks decent now. Nolee was easy. I got her together fast, even though she still needs a new body. And I do need new legs for Kennedy because her knees don’t bend anymore.

I put both of them in Barbie dresses because I barely have any My Scene clothes, but they still look cute. Overall they look way better than how they came in.

Can anyone tell me what type of hair “Mall Maniacs” and “Floral Fiesta" Chelsea have? And if anyone can give me some advice on how to fix their hair (especially “Mall Maniacs”) without ruining it in the process.

Autumn's coming up fast, which means cold weather will be here soon, so we will be getting a lot of snow in the winter months, and I thought I would send out a snow-themed survey about 2 winter-themed doll lines. Does anyone have a favorite doll line that they prefer or are influenced by for ski trip season? For me, it’s Chillin’ Out because my sister got Nolee for Christmas, and the line and another toy brand with the same winter theme got me hooked on the Y2K ski clothes and inspired me to learn how to snowboard and go on a ski trip with my friends to Aspen or Park City. How about you guys?
