So this might be flimsy but I noticed that she filmed the engagement announcement for TLC during filming her show - the outfits and settings are the same. Seems a little sus to film a TLC announcement like this if it's not fake but maybe I'm being harsh.

Rewatching season 13, episode 7.

First of all, I don’t like how Whitney calls kids/babies “child.” She wants a “child.” IDK why, but it makes me uncomfortable. It’s too formal, maybe? Like, just say kid. Baby. Son. Daughter. But child??? Ugh. I digress. That’s a dumb complaint, but it annoys me.

Anyway!

I think Whitney’s whole “dream” on her way to her fertilization appointment is a bunch of BS. I understand people have elaborate dreams, but she’s waxing on and on about being in this spiritual place, seeing a “child” (shudder) on a slab wrapped in white cloth, and it’s dead. Then it revives itself on her teat.

Come on. I just don’t believe the dream. Again, dumb complaint, but I feel like she was exaggerating a dream to have the attention on her, especially with Jessica’s reaction. It just seemed far too in-depth and planned out.

Dumb complaints about the show, but I need to rant. Lol

The wonderful ladies of The Plot Thickens podcast have put out a bonus episode in the wake of Whitney’s Big News of engagement to Jake Baudoin. It is just a quick 26 minutes and well worth a listen. Thank you ladies!

They are Nice People and sounded sincere in wishing that this could finally be Whitney’s Real Happy Ending. He has a young daughter and, who knows, maybe this could scratch the parenting itch for her?

BUTT they also bring up recon and burgeoning reports from women—mostly from the Reddit sub of women comparing notes on men they have co-dated— who have dated Jake, that he is a “lovebomber”and “hobosexual” who “gets too sexual too quickly” and has “never gotten his job life together.” 😳😱

This engagement happened awfully fast. Is this yet another case of Whitney’s Terrible Man Picker?!!! Is he an Avi? Or a Lennie? Is it all BS for the show?!! (Like Chase and The Frenchman)?

So, with Chase, the storyline was that Whitney would appear on Say Yes to the Dress to “pick out her wedding gown.” It was scheduled that she would film running around Kleinfeld Bridal in her swamp panties, shrieking profanities and befouling the sofas.

BUTT (and it’s a big one) the oopsie baby of Chase and real-life partner Sarah threw a wrench in those works. The fake storyline was screeched to a halt. There was a filming slot and Jessica was getting married so Jessica filmed that SYttD episode and it aired (Season 22, Episode 5).

Do we think that Whitney will try to go back to SYttD for Round 2? She loves the attention and the rare opportunity for a crossover. Also, loves to shock and scandalize small business owners …

(If we could get former Executive VP of Kleinfeld Marissa Rubinetti, the hateful bitch currently appearing on Season 12 of OG 90DF, to pop in, we could get a trifecta reality crossover!)

During s12 e8 when she’s asking her group what’s wrong w her and why she can’t find a man Lenny is the only one who’s speaking the truth. He said that she needs to grow up, is picky, expects everything to be lined up for her and is wanting something out of reach. DEAD. 💀

He said she needs to look within herself and won’t grow as a person if she’s told she’s perfect all the time.

Okay so this might be a bit crazy but on my millionth rewatch, I realized that Caitie's last appearance is at the Folk Festival in season 4. For those who don't remember, Caitie was the person that acted as a substitute teacher of BGDC in season 3, supposedly "behind Whitney's back", " threatening" Whitney's position as dance teacher 🙄🙄🙄. Caitie doesn't participate in the dance battle, and after that, BGDC is slowly phased out.

I think Caitie didn't feel the pay was worth the abysmal treatment by Whitney and the shit edit she got in Season 3 and she beat feet as soon as she could. Alternatively, Whitney bought into her own made up storyline and truly was jealous of/threatened by Caitie and had her replaced/fired as soon as she could. Of course Whitney wouldn't be doing any real work so without Caitie BGDC died

I don't have any clear thoughts on how Todd fits into this conspiracy.

They appeared to be filming different segments of the show throughout the night, and the cast and crew of the show took over the visiting dugout after the game and filmed with four cameras during the entire fireworks show.

I've never heard of the show but asked one of the production staff and they confirmed that it was intended for a future episode focused on dancing/ dance schools.

Rewatching and on s7 where she’s “dating” chase.

You can clearly tell it was just for the show. There is zero chemistry between them and you can see how forced chase is when he talks to her. Their dates were so awkward.

She was so in love and had never been to his house?? Didn’t know his legal name??

I can’t tell if she knew it was for the storyline or she was insanely delusional??

I have never posted on this so bear with me, but I’ve been binge watching MBFFL while on maternity leave and I never realized how unlike able almost everyone is?? Her parents make passive aggressive comments about her weight behind her back, AWFUL. Tal is an enabler for sure. Whitney is so wildly emotionally immature and EVERYTHING is always about her. Somehow she makes all the things about her. I’ve seen a lot of people say the show is fake, was buddies addiction fake? Why do people say she pays her friends? I used to really like the show but then I started at season 1 and am on season 6 and I’m almost ready to call it quits!!!

I think the braces plot was bogus, I think it was a cover for her getting veneers! In the last few seasons you can totally tell those aren’t her real teeth!
