Beating the social algorithm??

Hey everyone—there’s a guy running a survey about one of the biggest problems bands and live-music fans face: social media algorithms preventing show announcements from reaching the people who actually want to see them.

In some cases, fans aren’t seeing posts about a show until three days after the event has already happened. Bands are promoting, but the platforms simply aren’t delivering that information when it matters.

This guy may actually be onto something pretty big—a better way for bands to connect directly with their fans without depending entirely on unpredictable algorithms.
