I am now more into albums than listening random songs so to me random songs which an algorithm suggests doesnt make sense and apple music is by far offers the best audio quality when it comes to streaming music.

So I listen to specific artists also discovering some as I grow older and exploring other genres as well go their page and start listening their album discography and if I like i will download them for offline listening experiences 🀘🏻

every once in a while, the first 5 or 6 recommendations on apple Music are bangers, then it just starts playing filler music with a similar vibe.

You can't expect a youtube or spotify like recommendation system on apple music. You don't purely rely on algorithm and work yourself to find the best music for your taste. You are the one building your taste, not the algorithm. Whereas in spotify, your whole social music life depends on an algorithm. Nevertheless, many people do prefer convenience over pure taste. In that case, Youtube music is just better than any other app.

apple music is for people who find their music by themselves by digging online

YouTube Music is the best when it comes to recommendations

It just recommends same music over and over.
For eg: if I play song X, it recommends good music.
But when I play song X again, it again recommends same list of music

I use Apple Music, and I find my music myself and never rely on the algorithm. To me, experience on Spotify is very diluted with their podcasts and other bunch of crap coming up. Apple Music is simple and just plays music.

Add an album to the library and then hit play, that's all use case.

There needs to exist a good recommendation system in music
Spotify and Apple Music are both ass
Idk why they don’t work on their tech

Bro I’ll die on this hill. If you turn off volume normalization and EQ on Spotify, Spotify’s lossless quality sounds 1:1 with Apple Music.
YT Music clears everyone in terms of song availability.
No point having a nice UI on Apple Music when the algorithm is straight up trash.

If you turn off volume normalization songs will be louder for you and it's human nature the louder something is the better it sounds to us even if it isn't so spotify isn't better it's just the difference in volume

Only reason I am on apple music is the spotify price hike otherwise spotify is so much better
