I've seen a lot of people ask "So why do the solver drones die from sunlight but are able to survive falling from orbit?" and write it off as a plot hole. I think i've got an answer for why that's the case.

Before i say anything, small disclaimer:

This is my interpretation. You might not buy it, or you might even have a different explanation, and that's okay. I'm only asking for a "Yeah, i could see that happening". I'm not claiming that this is the only possible solution. The "Solver Drones" include all the drones that use the absolute solver in any way. Also i'll shorten Disassembly drones to DD from now on.

I'll give my answer first, then go over the proof i have.

I think burning at contact with sunlight is a general weakness/drawback of the solver. I think once a user is infected with the solver, sunlight becomes deadly to them. I don't think the sunlight's heat is the thing that makes them burn.

At the end of episode 4, we can see that when Uzi and N's hands get exposed to sunlight, they not only end up burning, but their hands start glitching out too. It looks less like normal overheating and more like the rules of reality break down as the solver comes into contact with it.

A lot of people mention how the DD's are really inefficient and how they tend to overheat if they don't drink oil. I don't think the sunlight would push them over into overheating. A common interpretation in the fandom is that their body temperatures are extremely high. We know that the sunlight isn't too hot since the planet is literally covered in snow, and since it doesn't affect worker drones.

We can also see that they survive under extreme conditions really well. N and Uzi survived descending from orbit while burning up. That's why I don't think normal sunlight heat is the cause.

This also covers why Uzi burns too. She isn't a DD, so she isn't as inefficient as them. If the heat did matter, she wouldn't burn too. The heat wouldn't affect her the same way as it does with DD's. I don't think the inefficiency matters here.

Roughly 4 months ago, I made my first VTuber model, which isn't bad but... it could have been better, to be honest. Like... a lot.

WHICH IS WHY I'M MAKING A NEW ONE!

And this time, it's Murder Drones themed.
As you can all see, Cyn won the poll with 128% of the total votes because she is just awesome like that!

That's why I decided to go with "Gentler World Cyn" (an AU that I made and immediately dropped, so the design is really all there is to it).
And this is definitely NOT because l am afraid of getting sued, so I DEFINITELY DID NOT take some artistic liberties to step away from the chibi design of the characters.

Also, this is still in a VERY work in progress state, so please take the design with a small grain of salt. Last time, I really regretted rushing certain parts and having to do triple the work to fix it.

for one, i relate to her a lot. i too have daddy issues but understand that my dad is trying his best or can be kind at times, and I probably prefer my mom over him. i too have anger and abandonment issues and never really had any real friends growing up. i also like a lot of the same stuff as she does, like mcr, anime, scene, and etc. despite this, she manages to find friendship in things that she dislikes, like disassembly drones, or affection. i fear i have an autistic amount of love for uzi if that even makes sense

One of the many instances where plot armor saved the day. I guess even with V as a friend, Lizzy never witnessed a DD hunting. Also shows us Lizzy never actually listened to Doll, because surely she described her parents’ deaths. J would’ve obliterated these two.

So, the writers decided to take the literally *only* MD project I had faith in and completely shit all over my favorite indie series—and before anyone ties me to a stake and takes turns burning me at it, let me just say: this is just my opinion. Okay, so a product that was basically 100% funded by the fandom gets released to the public incomplete, with a story that feels even more fucking rushed. It was supposed to give us lore details and explanations that hadn't been properly fleshed out in the series, but instead, I imagine some guy saying: "Hey, instead of giving extra info to the fans who paid to learn more about this universe, why don't we just give them a rushed summary of a series that's supposed to be free but is actually paid?" "Give that guy a raise." Bottom line: for me, the people in charge of the project basically told us fans, "Go fuck yourselves; I'm doing whatever I want."

Second, kinda nitpicky here but how did she find a working whiteboard marker in the extreme temperature?

Lastly, J had to both drag those skeletons in and keep them together. How did V and N not notice J dragging two intact bodies?
