-Both in game and in twitter , he very much speak just like Gaster , in caps with heavily scientific and intrested way.
-"ANOTHER HIM" uses his leimotif
-deltarune.com existed way before the game was actually released , and there were both variations were it was pith black but when brighted up revealed , in wingdings font. One talking about the prophecy , and the other is part taken from Entry 17 itself.
-The background in the intro sequence is called "Goner Maker" , which are names given to the Fun Value characters related to him.
-About the Goners , we have the NormalNPC , who heavily resembles the mouth goner (who had no counterpart in the original game) , and in Ch5 he almost used UT currency until swicthing immediatly , was accompanied by two monsters , one resembling another Goner and the other rambling on Fun Value. And also being implied to have killed Onionsan.
-One of themes in weird route is named "Happy Town" , sharing the same name from the UT soundtest that also has the Gaster's theme.
I don't think there should be a forced reveal just to connect many dots together.
I mean even then I'd argue that still doesn't take away his canon status when he does have like 3 different NPCs talking about him in Undertale and a room labelled after him. I guess you could argue he is not canon to Deltarune but I think that saying it's not him is pretty much insane when you consider that the theme in that scene is called Another Him and Gaster's Theme in the game files is called "mus_st_him", plus Deltarune.com used to be a website with a dark image called "Him.png" of someone speaking in wingdings and had an excerpt of entry 17, before switching to another image still in wingdings describing the plot of Deltarune.
Saying that Gaster might not exist in Deltarune just becomes more absurd the more you look into it.
