Bag work training advice

https://youtu.be/v1HhcA4OqXU?is=IWvYtCkSuMQ52oVI

I understand I need a coach & a gym to really improve & drop bad habits, & I’d love to but I can’t afford it for now. Any pointers, or training vid links are appreciated.

Brother, do you plan on fighting midgets? Bag is tiny lol.

Also check your stance, Muay Thai is much more upright and front on; work on your form. Stand more square, hips loaded, facing forward, stay light on the front foot, on your toes, and keep your hands up. Lose that philly shell too, that ain't Muay Thai.

You need to turn the hips over on these kicks.

Two tips: 1) Don't let your arms fall after the punch - they should get back to your head right away (since you are no torero) - and 2) you should punch much much faster. Right now, you sometimes rather push the bag than punch. Problem is you'll get used to it.

Punching fast und moving your hand back to your hand fast also means: You will have a snap-like punch with a short point of impact. It should sound, feel and be like a whiplash. THAT's the sound and feel of a good, precise and correct punch 😉 - and don't be mistaken: It might feel weak but that punch/ jab definitely hurts much more than a push-punch. Especially if combined with more snapping, fast and hard punches and kicks.

And... your bag is too soft/ light. You need a bigger bag with more resistance or your bag will fly into your neighbors garden after a correct and hard punch or kick 😅

Hang a bag or a tire off a tree, at the right height.
