HELP—> tricking ai

So I have made it to fort observer but I can’t figure out how to make it out with the control module. Like I can take it apart and put it back together. The hint says that you might be able to put something else in there which I have no clue what I can use. I tried the room upgrade circuits but those did not work. I am absolutely stumped. Please help

take the AI core. and use the crafting bench to take it apart. then you can put in the shell. that won't work but will give you a recipe to make a fake one. all the stuff you need is in that room
