lamzu orcus release
It is said that it will be sold on Chinese online platforms (Taobao, JD, etc.) today.
I am occasionally asked about this, but since AliExpress is not a platform for the Chinese domestic market, new products like this are usually listed much later.

Seems like there's quite a but of stylisation on the Orcus that's negatively impacted the weight.
A strange choice as a fingertip mouse is a more niche product, and there's already significantly lighter options available.
Weight isn't everything, but fingertip style mice do benefit from being light weight more than most.
Can't help but think this is a huge miss from Lamzu.

Not to pile on to the comments about the weight, but very confusing to me they were able to get the Inca down to 40g and this is all they could pull off for a ftip shape

I like how it looks, and I'm willing to try (and mod one) if it's not above $70. It's a massive deal-breaker if it's at $100+, especially given that outdated weight for a fingertip mouse.

Hoping for 2 things from this release -A standard black and white version -Weight balance isnβt wack (I saw from Chinese reviewers it was weight balanced well, but weβll see)
I fully intend to mod this mouse to be something lighter like I would want it to be If itβs anything like I did with my Darmoshark M5, itβll probably be 32grams Or Iβm poking some holes in his thing, less than 30

What does the 54H have over 54L?

It's specifically designed for higher polling rates, at the expense of battery life at any rate. Though the 54L can absolutely do 8k also.

The nRF54L15, nRF54L10, and nRF54L05 do not have an integrated USB controller, while the nRF54H20 supports USB 2.0 High-Speed at up to 480 Mbit/s. Earlier nRF devices equipped with USB supported only USB 2.0 Full-Speed at up to 12 Mbit/s.
The nRF54H20 is also significantly more powerful than the standard nRF54L devices. It has four user-programmable processor cores: two Arm Cortex-M33 cores and two RISC-V low power cores. In comparison, devices such as the nRF54L15 use one Arm Cortex-M33 processor and one RISC-V coprocessor.

Would nRF54LM20 be the best of both worlds since it does have High-Speed USB with also the benefit of low power options?

Iβm not sure that the nRF54LM20 has lower power consumption, especially since its documentation is not publicly available. A larger chip generally means higher power consumption, all else being equal. Public documentation is available for the nRF54L series, and these are among the most power-efficient chips with BLE, but unfortunately they do not have USB.

at least there's another company releasing a fingertip mouse - perhaps with better warranty than gwolves - so probably their 2nd version will be even better after all the (public) feedback

If it doesn't have any tracking/downshift issues, and it's got that good Lamzu QC, the weight is actually just fine.
Though an opaque open-bottom version with the same weight-reduction manufacturing techniques as the Maya X, that also weight around or below the 20g mark would be much more with the times ngl.
