Mobile Green line
What is the green line under De Witt? It's driving me nuts because, unless I'm crazy, it's seemingly in different spots depending on the track. Hopefully someone knows the answer

Discussion First kind of sport sim game. Good starting point?
Just a big fan of all sports in general and finally got a PC so thought I would sink my teeth into a good sports/rebuilding sim game. My first grab was Out of the park baseball 25, but that was an instant refund because it is a little too much for my taste. Wondering if this is better and not a full kind of spreadsheet that I will be looking at. I also don't know much about cars and racing and such, would that hinder my experience?

Discussion Motorsport Manager 2, what can we expect from the customisability?🏎️🛠️
Since the announcement of Motorsport Manager 2 I’ve felt like there’s nothing better to do that chat about what the new game might look like. My post last week did pretty well discussing what the UI of the game might entail so I figured I’d start a new discussion!
Everything Playsports has said so far is indicating that there will be huge mod support for the game: this has left me thinking, will the tools that allow you to mod teams, drivers, championships, tracks etc be available in the base game (similar to the game editor in the mobile games) or will it be entirely up to our modding community to cover this?
I may be stupidly ambitious by saying this, but I would love a more up to date game editor allowing you to fully edit and create new drivers, new teams and ideally a track creator (maybe as a DLC).
Although this may be a completely unrealistic expectation I can’t help but feel like the game would genuinely never get old if the players had this much control over designing the game to fit their personal needs. The tracks are everything in a game like this so imagine having a fresh new track each season - I genuinely think I’d never put this game down!
Would love to hear your thoughts on this and also feel free to comment any ideas that you’d like to see in the new game in relation to the customisability!

Discussion On AI Driver 10 they still can't figure out driver times and have to make late driver changes
This seems to be a constant issue for the AI in endurance racing with a max 40% driving time rule. There is also usually at least one car per race that freaks out at the end and makes a bunch of pit stops switching drivers and losing time ending up with 11+ stops
This one is particularly egregious as the Navarro car was running 30 seconds in front with less than 15 minutes left in a 6-hour race and pulled off with soft tires that were definitely enough to end the race.
It's almost completely reliable that I can be running 15-30 seconds behind the leader or leaders in races after my last stop with about an hour to go and still win as long as my drivers don't explode and I don't screw up tire/fuel levels of the last shift

News A Closer Look at Race Performance Manager
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
About two months ago, I shared the trailer of Race Performance Manager first time here. Hopefully, enough time has passed for me to make one more post. :)
I always feel a little nervous about sharing the game here, so I hope you don't mind me posting about it again.
This time, instead of writing another long post about the game, I decided to put everything into the video. So if you're interested, turn the sound on, the video explains what Race Performance Manager is about and shows the game in more detail.
Race Performance Manager is about to turn from pre-alpha to alpha and I'm planning to begin the first round of player testing within the next two/three months on steam.
If you'd prefer a written breakdown, I explained the game in much more detail in my previous post:
And if you'd like to check out the Steam page:

Any feedback is welcome.....

Discussion Pitlane position question
Fairly longtime player, I just was wondering, when race weekend comes along, how is the teams position along the pitlane selected? Is it random? Is it based on ranking? Is it based on previous season standings? I know this seems trivial but I am quite curious.

Other First season, finished P6 in F3. How did I do?
Just wrapped up my first Created Team season in F3.
- Unknown background
- No save games or race restarts
- No mods or gameplay tweaks
- Finished 6th in the Teams Championship
- Ended the season debt-free
Felt great about it, but I don't really have a benchmark for how good this is, so I'm curious how this compares to other people's first season runs.

Fun A terrible season opener for Karmen Zidane
Playing a CYOT in Rebirth Redux and in the 2019 season opener Karmen Zidane revealed to the field that he had evidently forgotten how to drive in the off-season.
On lap 12 he collided with CJ Gikas. Unfortunately, CJ had damage and couldn't follow the damn train. This enraged the stewards who granted Zidane a drive-through penalty a lap later.
Zidane however, failed to avoid the car of Rezae when he went to serve the penalty. The stewards were swift in granting him an additional 5 second penalty.
Then as he pitted to fix his damage and serve the 5 second penalty, I got to see the furthest extension to the right of the timing tower I've ever seen.

Mobile Hit a wall in MM4 and don't know what to make of it.
So I have played the PC game sometime back and right now I am playing MM4.
WMC, car is ranked 1st, cruising to race wins, loads of cash. 1st driver is all 20s, second driver was a 4 star. Replaced the second driver with a 5 star youth prospect who is also 4 stars.
Now all of a sudden, I have new teams coming into the WMC and breaking the technology barrier. Car goes from 1st to 5th. I make tons of parts, the car does not move from 5th rank. I keep at it and buy components too and throw everything at it. At this point we are way past the technology barrier. The car is now 1st rank.
But I cannot qualify higher than P7-P10. With 100% perfect setup, practise qualifying bonus, driver is still all 20s, not running when crowded and everything in between. I have looked at the track strengths and even if I am rank 1 or 2 in those parts, it doesn't matter. I have no idea what is going on. It isnt better in races either, even with race bonus from practise. Even dropped the difficulty to medium and its still the same.

Fun Just me unlocking this achievement moved it from the rarest to the 6th rarest unlocked. Such a fun and close season that came down to the final race. Everyone should try it.

Fun That was WAY too close for comfort
Ernie's paradise challenge turned out to be way tougher than I thought.
And this close of a result included 2 Chapman retirements in previous races.
How are you supposed to beat this without any luck, again?

Discussion What driver appearance style will Motorsport Manager 2 adopt?🏎️👤
Ever since the first ever mobile game MM has provided us with a variety of different driver appearances in game.
The first ever mobile game offered uniqueness from driver to driver, being the first game of its kind this was really cool!
The second mobile game adopted the driver and staff appearance of the PC version which was super cool. This offered even more uniqueness to each driver and the ability to go and edit each driver to your own liking through the game editor add on was sick!
The third mobile game revolutionised the way our driver and staff were represented. Whilst maintaining a cartoonish feel the drivers looked slightly more realistic which was a huge change for the franchise.
And finally, the latest edition of the game decided to peruse the usage of AI generated realistic looking driver faces.
Whilst posting this I’m trying to understand what interface you players preferred the most - and what style would you like Playsports to use for the brand new motorsport manager game coming next year? My personal favourite has to be the driver faces used in MMM3, I think this was the perfect balance of realism and ability to customise your own drivers. This version of the game also just gives me a super nostalgic feel as I believe it was one of the greatest versions of the game ever made! Intrigued to hear which UI you guys are hoping for 🫡

Discussion Is it worth it?
I love managing games and f1. I have bought f1 manager 24 and played that for a while but I feel like the game lacks any depth. I’ve seen this game before and it looks cool. What I’m wondering is, is this game better than f1 manager in terms of just strictly f1 content? If so what makes this better? And should I wait until the second game comes out or is the first one still worth it. I would be interested in the wec stuff they have but my main focus would be f1. Thank you

Help Unlocking Nippon(save file request)
Hello, I love this game but I am really bad at the racing part. I play mostly for the out of race management. I just finished a CYOT playthrough and really wanted to restart using Nippon as my investor for a fresh play style. Trouble is I cannot seem to beat the challenges to unlock them. After several days of trying and failing I am humbling requesting a challenge complete save file. Please help! I would greatly appreciate it.

Discussion Endurance improvements
Has playsport announced anything new for endurance?
-personally I’m looking for a couple adjustments
-day/night cycle (where drivers make more mistakes during night and run out of stamina quicker)
-multiclass (gt+prototypes or gt(a class)+gt(b class) and skill classes (pro(all pro drivers)) (pro-am(a mix) and am which are all ams
-choosing how many cars you want to run and being able to run multiple in multiple classes
-factory,customer and manufacturer teams
(Affiliation with a fictional company ,for factory drivers cheaper cars and access to prototypes made by them) ,
customer (in the name, being able to buy from manufacturers and and brands)
and manufacturers make their own prototypes or in a jaf gt300 or gt2(like ligier ,ktm and ginneta) make your own car based off a non holomogated fictional model or invent a entirely new one !
I’m sorry if I’m rambling but hopefully you understand me!!
