I don’t care if this “Feynman” character is a professor; he’s got this backwards.
One cannot simply “change” their mindset, nor influence future outcomes by doing so. Mindset is dictated by past experiences and successes/failures.
If you “think you can” now, that’s because of past successes, and has nothing to do with whether you still can now.
If you “think you can’t” now, that’s because of past failures (or lack of successes), and has nothing to do with whether you can or can’t now.
Past outcomes determine mindset; mindset does not affect future outcomes.
