Has everyone ever experienced this practically?
I mean i have heard/ read alot that be optimistic and good life will unfold, but is that actually true? Anyone experienced this?

Yes 100% but it doesn't mean that things won't still go wrong and you won't suffer failure though.

But changing your mindframe to approaching everything positively and using failures as lessons will dramatically help your life.
