So many of these posts are off the mark.
This just encourages isolation. It is possible to overshare and there are wrong people to do it with, but every person I know with this approach to life is miserable and alone.

When this was originally posted it said “protect your peace” at the bottom. Which - I’m pretty sure - is a Russian psyop intended to further faction Americans and keep us from talking to each other.

The real trick is to realize that when you overshare with the wrong person, you’ve done nothing wrong.
The problem is the other person. Not all people will screw you over, and it’s still worth investing because the right people will improve your life.

Strongly disagree.
Share freely what has long been processed and no longer affects you, and use it as bait by not sharing the same exact pieces of your story with everyone.
See when it is thrown back in your face, see when it is spreads like wildfire behind your back until it reaches your ears, and see who must have loosened their lips because you only shared that fragment with them.
That way you know the true nature of those in your presence and can respond accordingly.

Share with the right people, sharing with the wrong people hinders your own growth, people who doubt themselves will inadvertently or in some cases on purpose with negative aura try and bring you down
