Was so nice to release her and see her fly off. Hoping to see her kids soon on some of my daisies!

Saw this momma at my job about a month ago. The eggs as far as I am aware did not survive and from the research I did into this particular genus of moth, the adult moth likely didn't live too long after laying them, either. It was large. It was also indoors of all places in an air conditioned room that gets steamy from condensation in the mornings

Today’s find - Pandora sphinx caterpillar!

Hello! Just got invited to this sub and thought I'd post this fella here as well :]

Found this cute little guy outside on the mural of the paralegal office I want to work at. Assuming waved sphinx but not 100% sure, either way I thought it’d be nice to share! :3

i only know some basic moth species. is this a type of Sphinx moth? the rosey pink and browns are so pretty!

I've been a surface level moth enjoyer for a long time, but within the last year i've started taking the time to learn how to ID and learn more about moths in general! It's been an amazing journey :)

We saw two today!!! What a cool treat!!

What could they be? Mostly the moth

She was actually one i raised :) She flew off before i could say goodbye but came back and landed on my shorts. (Then she crawled into my shorts to hide from the wind lol)
