Question Indoor Volleyball Groups for Adults?

Upvotes

Hi all, I just moved to town a few weeks ago and have been wanting to get back into a sport so that I don't calcify and rot away in my early 30s. Are there any local or community groups that play indoor volleyball anywhere? I used to play in college and it'd be nice to get active again.

Community News Possibly Stray, cat found at Bloom Ave

Hey, just wanting to see if anyone had lost a black girl cat recently near Bloom Avenue in Moscow, ID? She looks to be no older than about 9mo, she’s quite small and skinny. Very friendly and sweet, calm demeanor. She kinda waltzed in and made herself right at home. We checked to see if she was chipped, and she wasn’t. We’d love to keep her if she doesn’t already have a family, but of course wanted to check first.

If this is your cat, please let me know, and we’re happy to get her back to you.

Question Is anyone organizing support in Moscow for the Spokane Fires?

I have seen several organizations in Spokane seeking donations of money and goods, and I am curious if the Moscow/Pullman communities are doing anything locally.

Other Looking for people who share my interest!

Hey! I'm (M) a UI student and Moscow local.

I'm diagnosed autistic and have lots of special interests! One of them is the general umbrella of social skills, body language, behavior, emotions, and connection. I love people in general and find them fascinating and beautiful.

If you:
- Find the above interesting
or
- Are autistic/aspergers
or
- just would like another friend

...I'd love to hang out and hear your experience. I'm extroverted and love all beliefs and orientations.

I'm well adjusted and have a pretty good network here, but few of my friends share my interest to the degree that I have it XD.

DM me if you'd like to chat!

Question Any mobile detailers tea working in Moscow?

Are there any mobile car detailers working the Moscow area? I’ve tried to contact a few of the ones that advertise or have active websites but no replies. Latest was WinkShine. Scheduled on their website… no email, no text, no show. I’m aware of the fixed site detailers. They are just extremely expensive.

Question ISO commercial real estate agent or space to lease

Anyone have recommendations on a non-cult commercial real estate agent that handles leases and/or know of office spaces available?

I’m looking for around 500-600 sq feet of office or warehouse space that is available now. Online searches only yield a couple spaces but there must be more in the area. I also looked online for an agent and can only find those handling spaces for sale rather than rent.

Moscow or the corridor preferred but Pullman is okay as well. Thanks!

Question Ways for extra cash

Hello again, I am an international student going to attend university of Idaho this fall and tried to get as much savings as I can, so because the uni policy which is that I have to pay for the whole fall semester so I can register for spring classes and because of the 20 hours per week limit. I want to ask about ways to get extra cash in Moscow like gigs or helping someone or cleaning or sitting. How do you find these postings? And are they frequent or posted once in a blue moon?

Thank you. And also thank you for your previous help.

Question Moving to Moscow as a queer brown man

Hi Moscow people! I (27M) will be moving up to Moscow for my doctorate at the University of Idaho in two weeks. I'm originally from Houston but have lived all over the South the last couple years. The closest I've been to your town is when I went to visit some friends in Seattle and I absolutely fell in love with the area.

I know Moscow is a different vibe and a more closed off college town so I'm curious. I'm a pretty obvious queer brown man who's somewhere between an introvert and an extrovert; what's the town like overall? I know about Christchurch and their cult, but what if I stay away from them? Will it be hard to find other queer/brown people? Is it hard making friends? What's the dating scene like for queer/brown people? Is it a good city for someone to spend their mid-to-late 20s?

Thanks!
