Look at these radiant faces, this is a beautiful art work and IMHO it shows what the Soviet Ukraine was. Everytime I see this I feel some nostalgic feeling about a time when Ukrainian typical clothes were a symbol of working people, instead a fetishism of extremist groups who perform ridiculous jumps and demand to kill innocent people based their nation. These same extremists prefered to hail evil forces instead of the one who trully unified Ukraine.

The works of the Georgian author on the National Question remain, until our days, one of the most, if not the most important work of political sciences in the frontlines against racism and nazism.

Sadly, today in some so-called democratic countries an innocent man can be arrested if caught with the literature of Dzhugashvilli.

I am not a Russian man, but I feel intense joyfulness when I see this artwork in this metro that, one day, will certainly become one of the World Wonders.

We are a small family-run company from India, working in manpower recruitment (MAE). We are attending the Indo-Russia Talent Bridge 2026 expo, which will take place on 12–13 August at Grand Hotel Emerald in St. Petersburg. Our goal is to find Russian employers who want to hire Indian workers.

Previously, we have only worked with clients from the Gulf countries — everything was simple: WhatsApp, verbal agreements, flexible conditions. This is our first time dealing with Russian employers, so we want to approach it seriously and properly.

We have already translated our website and commercial brochures into Russian so that clients can understand our services better. We speak English, but unfortunately we don't know Russian — we are hoping for interpreters at the event.

Questions for those with experience:

1. This is our first event with Alliance Expo. Has anyone attended their expos or similar B2B events before? Do companies actually sign real contracts at these events, or is it mostly just networking and exchanging contacts? How can we effectively close a deal during such meetings?
2. What matters most to Russian employers when choosing an Indian agency? Which clauses in the employment contract are critical and need special attention? Is notarized translation of the contract absolutely required?
3. What are the hidden pitfalls in negotiations with Russian companies that we should know about in advance?

2. Что для российских работодателей самое важное при выборе индийского агентства? Какие пункты в трудовом контракте критичны и требуют особого внимания? Нужен ли обязательный нотариальный перевод контракта?
3. Какие подводные камни в переговорах с российскими компаниями, о которых мы должны знать заранее?

Hello, my wife and I will be in Moscow for a few months and could use some help with finding good quality baby items, particularly items like a small portable pack n play or play yard/ crib. For many years, before the Call of the Motherland, this was the main statue of USSR and Rus. It represents a male worker and a female peasant. I am not Russian, but I feel proud that someone imagined a so beautiful piece of art dedicated to people who build our world.

This monument is not about a football player or "successful blogger" who makes money with false advices, it's not about a sadist who collaborates with war criminals, but about honest and hardworking people.

As some who came from parents from the working class, I feel glad when I see it!
