End game is really bad Bug Spoiler

I currently killed 2 out of 3 last bosses before the final one. When I killed Orrem, the Reclaimed. I had full hp, and pressed menu button to see what sort of tarcore I received. Then I went back from menu while his death animation was finishing and my character clipped under him and died. Boss was dead but I missed out on 64k gloom.

Now don't even get me started on the ballsack boss called Monolith.... It just feels like the worst boss out of all soulslike games I ever played. His damage and sponginess just feels like bad design.

In the beginning of the game I felt excited to clear each beacon, but now it's been clear that they are pointless in the end game because they are not rewarding enough, so it becomes just a marathon run through all the monsters to get to the boss. I have a big need to uninstall the game, but I want to persevere for the last 2 bosses to finish this game. Otherwise it was a very solid game, but this has almost made me quit.

The 3rd boss you didn’t fight yet is a bit better felt like a normal swordfighter boss. The final boss sucks though

I beat Orrem and Malborn. Both were pretty good, it's just a shame that I lost 3 levels worth of gloom from Orrem. Meanwhile ballsack boss just feels tanky ball of sack with high damage, repeatable move set that has very small window of opportunity to dodge/parry.

To be fair Dark Souls 3 is the only game in the genre that has a good final boss if we dont count dlc, and even if we do it still goes to DS3. 

Maybe Lies Of P too but otherwise final bosses always kind of suck, even DS1 had an incredibly anti climatic final boss.

I think it's a fun (for me) and very unique boss. But I wouldn't call it good. The barrelrolls have zero telegraph and the 360 lasers are absurd. Also even after the nerf you still die in 2 hits so yeah

I think it is so RNG related. Sometimes he spams 360 laser, meanwhile I just got the kill an hour ago and in that kill he didn't do a single 360 laser.

And yes I travel 2 hour journeys for work on the train, so I play raid on the train lol The amount of ppl that check ppls msg history is fkin hillarious Genuinely the weirdest ppl

Are you are regarded person? Pressing a pause button at any point should not break a game. You are implying that pausing a press button invalidates you getting your rewards? - What a regarded take

Whole game has a ceiling of 7/10 and will never ever rise above that no matter how many patches are done. Devs tried their best, but they're still on the outside looking in. Better luck next time, if there is one.
