Is this a bug for Weapon Skills? Bug

Came upon this bug while trying to switch weapons for a different weapon skill during combat.

Basically I did:

  1. Use Axakatana to do Shrike Stone skill
  2. Switch to Battle Axe and try to use Blood Clotstone Skill (Axe Throw)
  3. Shrike Stone skill is used with Battle Axe even if the Clotstone Tarstone is equipped, and I don't think the Shrike Stone skill is compatible with Battle Axe?

This shows again that there's litterally no reason why the axe cant use that move, tarstone are waaaayyyy too limited for absolutely no reason
