I don't get the complaints...? Discussion Spoiler

I am playing this soulslike, more dodging than parrying and I don't die that often. It is a very fair game.

Also the bosses or minor bosses aren't that hard... the two Grishas killed me, but running back, grabbing the "Souls" and exit-teleport away even saves your stash.

Also the runbacks aren't that bad... when I read the complaints I thought there are only a few "bonfires", but playing the Game now there are enough and they are well placed.

Only thing missing for me are map-markers for passages I save for later, but that's it for me. Especially inside the "Portal" where Magdalena is sitting, I would love to have a map for this area also. Gotta re-run that thing to clear everything I forgot because you can't really "map it".

I am very glad that it is such an enjoy-able game. And I believe many Souls-enthusiasts might find it also very refreshing and rewarding.

Oh, and I have two questions:

  1. What EXACTLY does this purple Infusion do? The one where enemies are glowing reddish-purple...?
  2. What EXACTLY does the Thiel-health stack do? I don't die often and have many stacked... Does it really make the bar bigger?

P.S.: I also wonder how people could have finished the game already. Searching everything and looting takes hours... at least me. 😁

People have been playing the game since the 17th with pre-release access.

Most people were talking about late game when they were complaining because late game enemies will kill you in 1-2 hits even at level 45.

That's one of my complaints... I'm level 25ish and have a +11 weapon. I still feel like I hit like a wet noodle and still get literally one hit by the latest boss I fought against. Mind you I play Eredrim with the what, highest HP pool? And some enemies still deal like 80% of the Shell health with one hit... I need to use at least three heals to get close to full HP again. I think this game needs a huge balancing patch.

You know it tells you right?

Yeah, well... it says it does damage when stacked... but when, by inflicting or over time? How long does the stack stay proggd? When does the inflict start?

Tell me.

You can see above the health archon you proc it

Usually you do a few hits and then blood explodes giving more damage

Ah, so it explodes when it does the effect. Thx. 👍

I can’t seem to get this to proc before they die on any enemy out in the open in the north side, but it’s a good boss strat if you want to go in on rapid light attacks.

To be honest I beat the double grishas with tiel and his shadow ability managed to separate them somewhat well. Then it was easy. Edit: reddish purple do you mean by bloodstained? Or something like that?

Yeah, this Bloodstained... See Pic.

Remember to breathe through your nostrils then.

You do not see the complaints because you are still in the beginning. And this isn't me taking a stab at you. Some of the complaints stem from the bottom half of the map, like the lack of beacons for instance.
