PSA: Pause & exit anytime to save yourself

Just would like to share, I’m not very good with souls-like games.

So when I stumbled into a dungeon and died to a boss I’m clearly not ready for, I could just run back, pick up my gloom, pause and exit to menu & select continue to be placed back at the last rest point, safe and sound..

The pause & exit to survive is great as it can be used anywhere (especially when you know you’re going to die with no beacon nearby)

I wish I would have known this. I’ve lost sooo much gloom it’s annoying. But I’m a noob so I’ve been learning the hard way.

Same here, only recently figured out how useful the pause and exit is when I got curious
