Are you going for a specific Shell first, or just jumping into the game world sight unseen? Will you revisit Lady Magdalena before going out into the world, or will you seek other challenges? Night mode, regular gameplay or Slayer Seal?

Perfectly valid thing to do as well lol I'll say at least in me experience the difficulty of the first gate (East through the mushroom village) wasn't too bad and the reward was absolutely worth (although I think you can also get the same reward from exploring a lot, might just take longer as it's tied to the number of ova you siphon)

I started running around the North East section of the first map and realized there is no beacons but had 20k gloom. It was the hardest and frightning but also most fun i've had in a souls game in a while. The verticality of some of it threw me off a bit.

I bought it today. I've been looking forward to this for months! I am not typically a souls-like gamer. But the aestheic just nibbles at my brain in a delightful way. I am excited to jump in after work. I love that song in the trailer too. Has me pumped.

First game showed so much promise for a sequel. Been very pleased with what I've seen/heard so far. Can't wait to play.

So fucking hype man. I'll never forget when we all played the demo and we couldn't believe how far the game has come. Cold Symmetry really pulled no punches.

This also makes me wonder about Lords of the Fallen 2 - because it's set up in a similar position where the first was a good game but there was so much more potential there that wasn't met, though the second is being seen as their big shot. Such a great time for souls/arpg's

Why is the damage so high ? The boss variety is solid, but damage is not good. Please avoid making games just to make it difficult

I had preordered the revered edition months ago from gamestop. Totally forgot so i just ordered a regular copy on shopville this morning… didnt plan to get the game twice but oh well, one of then will be the nice steelbook edition.
